CPS AR Material Operations Planner
At The Coca-Cola Company, we are a global business that operates on a local scale, serving communities around the world while delivering consistent quality and excellence. We are currently seeking a Material Operations Planner to join our Supply Chain team in Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires.
This role is responsible for collecting, analyzing, reporting, and managing data to generate key insights that support ingredient supply chain operations, including annual negotiation processes. The Material Operations Planner also supports procurement and supplier relationship management activities for minor suppliers, as well as administrative tasks related to budgets, purchase orders, inventory planning, and meeting coordination.
The ideal candidate brings strong critical thinking skills, proven experience in purchasing or supply chain environments, and the ability to manage complex internal and external relationships in a dynamic, fast-paced organization.
🔔 This position is a fixed-term contract through December 31, 2026.
What You’ll Do for Us
- Collaborate with supply chain management and plant teams, supporting planner and buyer communications and participating in operational meetings.
- Investigate materials at risk and proactively alert buyers and plant leadership to support continuity of supply.
- Participate in and occasionally lead packaging optimization initiatives or ingredient defect problem-solving activities.
- Partner with Quality Assurance and Production representatives, updating internal reports and documentation as required.
- Follow up on approvals and completion of hard allocation requests and material-to-material conversion activities.
- Support the management of critical supply risks, including supplier changes and supply-point transitions affecting ingredient availability.
- Collaborate with buyers and planning team members to execute cost-savings initiatives across the supply chain.
- Execute regular supplier relationship and internal meetings to improve service levels and support production teams.
- Manage standard plant reporting, including purchase orders, ingredient availability, invoicing, component availability, inventory levels, and stock reports.
- Follow up on target inventory levels through coordinated planning and purchasing activities.
- Manage supplier-related activities to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements, including audits, price schedules, agreements, insurance certificates, and contractual documentation.
- Maintain and update key performance metrics, tools, data systems, pricing information, and supplier databases.
What Are the Qualifications Needed
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, data analytics, or data management.
- Strong business communication skills, including negotiation capabilities.
- Knowledge of SAP, Fiori, Flow, and Control Tower.
- Understanding of basic manufacturing processes, standards, and supply chain best practices.
- Ability to interpret and manage contractual documentation and ensure performance in line with agreements.
- Knowledge of ingredients, packaging, logistics services, and related supply chain industries.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to work with quantitative data and draw valid conclusions.
- Demonstrated customer focus with the ability to build productive internal and external relationships.
