CPS ID-Production Operator
The Production Operator is on the front lines of manufacturing success, responsible for running production processes to meet productivity, quality, and safety targets. This role plays a key part in identifying performance issues, actively contributing to problem resolution, and supporting continuous improvement of plant performance.
The operator ensures strict adherence to standard operating procedures and prescribed equipment parameters, closely monitors process and machine performance, and takes timely action to reduce efficiency and material losses. Autonomous Maintenance skills are essential, enabling the operator to recognize early signs of machine abnormalities and help prevent breakdowns.
Production Operators are expected to demonstrate strong ownership of their work, a high level of motivation, and a willingness to learn. With a proactive mindset, they continuously seek improvement opportunities while performing a variety of manufacturing tasks in a modern, team-oriented production environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate production equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures to meet productivity, quality, and safety targets.
- Good literacy in digital tool
- Monitor process and machine performance closely, ensuring operation within prescribed parameters.
- Perform Autonomous Maintenance activities, including basic inspection, cleaning, lubrication, and early detection of machine breakdown risks..
- Maintain product quality by following quality standards and promptly addressing non-conformances.
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures, actively contributing to a safe working environment.
- Demonstrate ownership of assigned equipment and work areas, ensuring proper housekeeping and organization.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including suggestions to improve productivity, quality, safety, and cost.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and maintenance personnel to support stable operations.
- Maintain accurate production and operational records as required.
- Show willingness to learn new processes, technologies, and skills to support operational excellence
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma 3 or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience as a Production Operator
- Good math and communication skills are essential.
- Ability to read, write and speak English is required.
- Prior knowledge or ability to run manufacturing equipment is needed.
- Able to read and follow work instructions and standard operating procedures
- Basic understanding of safety, quality, and production concepts
- Must be able to identify line problems, non-conforming products, and employ corrective actions.
- The ability to do repetitive activities include lifting, pushing, bending, and standing while operating equipment is required.
- Must be able to work a daily schedule include shift pattern or overtime if required.
- Able to work as active team player
