Senior Manager, Finance Systems & Process Optimisation

At The Coca‑Cola Company, our Finance organisation operates as a global Centre of Excellence, setting standards that enable strong financial control and scalable growth across some of the world’s most recognisable brands. For Costa Coffee, we are now looking for a senior finance leader to take ownership of how our finance systems enable a high‑quality close, robust reporting, and ongoing transformation. This role sits at the intersection of financial control, finance systems (particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365), and business change. It is a senior, influential position for a qualified finance professional who wants to shape how finance works — not just operate within it.

What you’ll do for us:

This is not a transactional accounting or month‑end close role. Instead, you will own and evolve the finance design and use of D365 and related systems, ensuring they are enabling efficient Record‑to‑Report processes, clear intercompany accounting, and strong controls across the Costa Coffee business.

You will act as the primary interface between Finance, IT, the business and our managed service provider. Through strong governance, system design and standardisation, you will help ensure our finance operations are scalable, well‑controlled and fit for the future.

A key early focus for the role will be optimising balance sheet reconciliation processes, bringing together existing system capabilities and tools to simplify processes, reduce manual effort and improve transparency — working across Coca‑Cola, Costa and Genpact to drive meaningful, systems‑led improvement.

This role is also responsible for:

  • Translate accounting, control and business requirements into sustainable system and process solutions

  • Partner with Finance Systems and IT teams to prioritise enhancements, oversee testing, and support effective deployment

  • Act as a key enabler for finance‑driven system change, ensuring alignment with finance standards and avoiding bespoke solutions, translating change into operational activity.

  • Provide governance oversight of the financial close, identifying root causes of issues and driving system‑ and process‑led improvements

  • Own and maintain RTR policies, process documentation and standards, ensuring consistency and clarity across entities

  • Govern the performance of the managed service provider for RTR services, including SLA/KPI management and monthly governance forums

Ideal Candidate qualifications and requirements:

  • Be a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with experience in Financial Control, Finance Operations, or Record to Report

  • Have strong, hands‑on experience owning or shaping finance systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365, including:

  • System design and optimisation

  • Translating accounting and control requirements into system solutions

  • Partnering with IT and systems teams on change and enhancements

  • Be comfortable acting as a bridge between Finance, IT, and the business, using D365 as a core enabler of better close, reporting and intercompany processes

  • Have experience working with shared service or managed service models, focusing on governance, performance and continuous improvement rather than transactional delivery

  • Be credible operating at Senior Manager level, influencing stakeholders, setting standards, and enabling strategic and system‑driven change
