Warehouse Operator

Our Warehouse Operators are at the forefront of our business, working directly with our products in the manufacturing facilities. You’ll be focused on maintaining product movement in and out of the distribution center/Plant by performing various duties.
What You’ll Do for Us
- Handle movement of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods using forklifts and other material handling equipment (MHE), including bulk tanker unloading.
- Perform receiving activities including unloading, inspection, sampling, verification, system receiving, and storage of incoming materials and finished products.
- Execute shipping operations including picking, relabeling, inspection, counting, loading outbound shipments, preparing shipment documentation, and shipment samples when required.
- Support production operations by ensuring timely supply and return of ingredients and packaging materials to production and filling lines.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through SAP transactions, cycle counting, inventory control activities, and adherence to inventory governance guidelines.
- Ensure warehouse operations comply with GMP, KORE, food safety, quality, and health & safety standards, including proper stacking and storage of materials.
- Load and unload freight while coordinating freight movement with warehouse, logistics, and production teams.
- Communicate effectively with Production regarding material issuance/receiving and with QA regarding product safety, quality, and integrity concerns.
- Support handling, sampling, and disposition of excess or rejected materials in partnership with Quality Assurance and shipping personnel.
- Prepare documentation and provide support for audits, reporting requirements, and compliance activities.
- Identify and report safety hazards, follow PPE requirements, and operate industrial equipment safely in line with KO safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA), corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement/productivity initiatives within warehouse operations.
- Perform additional warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory, and related duties as assigned.
Education & Professional Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 2–3 years of experience in a similar warehouse or logistics role required.
Core Competency
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English is required.
- Must be flexible to work shifts, including overtime, based on business needs.
- Well-versed in warehouse management systems, SAP, and the safe operation of material handling equipment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Good computer literacy with the ability to develop further technical and system skills.
- Organized, methodical, and detail-oriented, with the ability to work in a controlled and structured environment.
