The Creative Activation Manager (CAM) will work as part of the Shopper Marketing department and in tandem with cross-functional partners to develop customer specific shopper marketing programming, including new and tailored national or regional programs.  This role supports the Sr. Shopper Manager in directing agencies to drive projects from concept approval to release of final program creative.  The CAM manages shopper marketing budgets and acts as a subject matter expert to ensure all approvals on creative and investments while aligning to strategic initiatives.
 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages project and agency creative budgets to ensure they are within the budget scopes.
  • Directs and manages partner agencies and vendors
  • Leads development of custom POS creative materials
  • Oversees any promotional materials and coordination (sweeps, offers, promotions, etc.)
  • Assists in communication of program details to cross-functional teams; ie: field AE's, brands, bottlers to ensure alignment
  • Advances Coca-Cola's value-based sales/marketing model in collaboration with our customer.
  • Advances key shopper marketing capabilities - with heavy focus on digital, mobile, sampling, omni-channel, and social
  • Serves as primary creative interface for local agencies.
  • Develops customer specific messaging and materials to support activation:
    • Social influencer content, Digital activations (as necessary), Premiums, Media/marketing assets, legal and brand approvals of all messaging, claims and trademarks.
       

Education:  Bachelor's degree

Related Work Experience: 

  • Minimum 5 years' related work experience, preferably in the consumer goods/beverages industry
  • Marketing, analytic and/or Sales Experience (particularly in area of Shopper Marketing)
  • Customer/Sales management experience
  • Digital, omni-channel experience
  • Budget and project management experience
  • Understanding of key consumption occasions, shopper messaging, and methods of activation
  • Planning and organizing experience; execution bias for action

Functional Skills:   

  • Media execution (tags, scripts, print ads, program ads)
  • Legal approval process
  • Brand Acumen - positioning, packaging, proposition, occasions, vision
  • Collaboration (e.g., Region commercial, effectively communicates & builds relationships at all organizational levels)
  • Knowledge in consumer / shopper insights and trends
  • Effectively communicates & builds relationships at all organizational levels
  • Ability to provide clear and concise delivery of message
