Job Description Summary

The IT Financial Solutions Product Owner role is to help identify Financial Solutions requirements from users, prioritize them as per business impact, and supervise the execution of the requirements by the DevOps team. We expect the Product Owner to be knowledgeable about Financial Analysis domain and to suggest best ways to develop and use Financial Analysis Solutions to users and come up with better ways of running business processes with the help new systems system. Business processes mentioned include Month Closing, Financial Forecasts & Simulations, Rolling Estimates & Actuals, etc. The person in this position will also be responsible for user training, regular communications with the user and the DevOps teams to resolve day-to-day issues with the Financial Solutions. Working with the DevOps team will require familiarity with Agile process, business process matching & mapping, managing product backlog, sprint panning, execution supervision and testing, daily stand ups with operations team and ensuring ongoing data quality.

The role will be located in Shanghai, and responsibilities will cover Coca-Cola System GC&K division (incl. China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, Macao, Mongolia).

Key Results:

  • Financial solutions supervised and delivered meet criteria for business value (incl. user feedback, usage and quality days for the system), cost, time-to-deliver, and reusability
  • Enable increasing levels of self-service by business users
  • Compliance with industry best practices and financial standards of the Coca-Cola Company for development and operations


Responsible for complex Financial Analysis systems business process analysis, design and simulation with limited guidance from supervisor; focuses on re-engineering & improvement of current business processes; creates process change by integrating new processes with existing ones; recommends and facilitates quality improvement efforts. Specifically:

  • Work with business subject matter experts to understand business data and related processes;
  • Using Agile and Dev/Ops methods, supervise the development & enhancement of Financial Analysis solutions and manage them ongoingly to achieve 95%+ quality runs;
  • Maintain product backlog and ensure Financial Solutions development sprint planning;
  • Regularly communicate with the systems' users to organize testing, trainings and ensure user satisfaction with the systems;
  • Know available systems and business processes in depth to enable re-use of components, such as data sources, and recommend simplified approaches to daily user activities;
  • Spot opportunities for automation of data cleansing, mapping, transformation, logging, and exception handling, progressively eliminate manual effort required to support systems today;
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to promote Financial Analysis strategies, analyze and test new products, perform proofs-of-concept, and pilot new technologies and/or methods;
  • Establish and document standards, guidelines, and best practices for teams utilizing Financial Solutions;
  • Review Financial Solutions designs suggested by external vendors to ensure technology appropriateness, standards compliance, and platform capacity alignment;

Job Requirements - The following is a listing of minimum indicated requirements for this job.


  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Data Analysis, or related field.

Related Work Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience analyzing data and / or as part of Financial Solutions /Analytics solution initiatives.
  • Experience in Agile development of BI and / or Financial Solutions
  • Experience in deployment or maintenance of one of: Hyperion, Anaplan, Cognos, Adaptive Insights or similar.


  • Knowledge of industry solution in the area: Hyperion, Anaplan, Cognos, Adaptive Insights (one of or similar)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to work with geographically diverse teams via collaborative technologies.
  • Proven experience in managing mid-sized projects using Agile and working with Dev/Ops
  • Working knowledge of Azure Cloud BI stack
  • Intermediate skill in one SQL and/or Power BI
