• Prepare all customer orders as per weekly schedule which is Pick, pack, label pallets, shrink-wrap and load orders.
• Ensure that all inventories are correctly, properly stored and effectively updated in SAP during the order preparation process.
• To ensure that inventory is effectively retrieved from production and stored in the correct warehouse storage location.
• Develop relationship with service providers to the department such as customer services and transporters etc.
• Reporting to the Distribution Team Leader all issues related to inventory and downtime.
• Reporting all inventory inaccuracy issues to the cycle counter for correction

Customer Order Preparation:

1.     All customer orders using WMRF scanner according to the weekly shipping schedule and requested schedule changes. 

2.     All orders must be prepared according to the order preparation procedure to avoid customer concern SDR.

3.   Ensure all customer orders are prepared on time as per the agreed times on the weekly shipping schedule to avoid late shipments.

4.   Pack, Label, shrink-wrap and scan during loading all pallets containing products to be shipped out as per the Order shipping procedure.

Inventory Put Away From Production:

1.   Ensure all inventory from production is counted and reconciled with the production operator at the end of the production batch manufactured.

2.   Ensure all inventory from production is retrieved, shrink wrapped and stored in correct storage location.

3.   To ensure all inventories are stacked and drawn to and from the warehouse on a first Expiry, first out basis (FEFO Method) as per the tasks instruction sent by the scanners.

Inventory Management, GMP, Safety Practices and Productivity:

1.      Perform cycle counts as and when requested by the cycle counter to maintain high inventory accuracy

2.      Report all inventory inaccuracies to the Cycle counter and Distribution Team Leader as soon as you identify them for correction

3.      Ensure all items retrieved in the warehouse are updated timely in SAP to reflect the correct Quantity and locations.

4.      Perform good manufacturing practices (GMP) tasks on a daily basis, according to the established check list, to conform to the required GMP and security requirements.

5.      To check and ensure that cold room doors, distribution doors and roller shutters are kept closed all the time.

6.     Supervise your area of responsibility after work at all times before you leave the plant.

7.     Ensure that all equipment / machinery used are switched off when not in use, and also keep them clean. Report all faults occurring on any machinery to the Distribution Team Leader so as to report to central services via works order.

8.   To be involved in basic equipment maintenance such as ensuring batteries have enough water etc.

9.   To carry out fork truck inspection and complete form on a daily basis

10. Wear protective equipment at all times where applicable during working hours and ensure that safety guidelines are followed at all times. Report and document any safety related issues and ensure the safety representative and department manager address them.

11. You must be audit ready and compliant at all times

12. Complete all OE OSE forms correctly on a daily basis and investigate any issues impacting productivity.

13. Take part in company projects, Standardization, 5S and corrective action initiatives aimed at increasing productivity.

14. Ensure transporters meet Coca-Cola required standards for transportation of concentrate.

15. You must be prepared to perform any other duties as may reasonably be required of you within the department and other departments, to ensure the department and company policies and procedures as instructed by the department manager or his/her designee are achieved.

Environmental Management, Occupational Health & Safety, and Food Safety & Quality

1.     Cooperate and follow instructions given by the employer (CCS Leadership Team), Commissioner of Labour, Inspector or any other person lawfully authorized to give such instructions in keeping the working conditions safe and without risk to health and injury in the field of that activity.

2.     Use, any means, appliance, equipment or other safety devise for securing safety and health as provided by the employer (CCS Leadership Team) for use and protection of the employee or property in any process and as per the instructions given by the employer or any person lawfully authorized to do so.

3.     Report to the employer (CCS Leadership Team) any situation as soon as it becomes unsafe or unhealthy, or where an accident occurs report such accident to the employer or supervisor.

4.     Ensure adherence to Environmental management, occupational health and safety, Food safety and quality procedures, work instructions, and work aids and not compromise the environment, occupational health and safety, food safety and quality.

5.     Report all environmental, occupational health and safety, food safety and quality related incidents to their immediate supervisor without delay.  

Financial/Job Scope:

·     Responsible for the shipment of approximately 3.8 M standard units annually

·     Order fulfillment of approximately 62 Bottlers in 26 countries

·     Ensure product is handled correctly to avoid Product Defect Rate Increase.

·            Plan daily work to avoid unscheduled unnecessary overtime

Internal:

·     Customer Services:

      Fulfillment of delivery of Customer Orders. Communication of transport issues at all stages during inspection and loading via the Distribution Team Leader.

·     Transport Planning and Logistics:

      Pre-pull the next day orders to facilitate document preparation and load all trucks on time to avoid down time and demurrage.

·     Production:

      Highlight any quality issues such as falling labels, damaged packaging and dirty containers due to product spillage

·        Process Quality:

Timely investigation of process audit findings and implementation of corrective actions to avoid repeats.

Educational Requirements:

Knowledge, skills and job experience:

·     1 year Experience within a manufacturing and warehouse / Distribution work environment.

·     SAP knowledge

·     Valid fork truck driver's license

·     Supervisory experience and computer literacy, an essential advantage

·     Good communication skills

Educational Requirements:

·     Technical tertiary Qualification
