Job Description Summary:

Sparkling contribute to $7 Bi USD revenue of total NARTD industry.
Mexico has a larger Up the Trade Market (Modern Channel) with more than 25,000 outlets mainly in Self-Services formats (5,700), Convenience Stores (18,000) and on premise Modern Customers such as cinemas, restaurants, etc.
This role needs to translate Sparkling Brand Strategy into Modern trade commercial proposal to ensure consumers sales experience through capitalize and enhance system assets such as platforms and coolers.


  • Establish the commercial Refreshment Sparkling strategy in Modern the Trade Channel (Self-Services, on premise, Convenience, And Drug Stores Customers) based on consumer/ shopper trends and jobs to be done by sub channel .
  • Identify and provide direction on opportunities to maximize and develop refreshment categories/ brands in modern trade channel by segmenting bottlers/ territories, prioritize portfolio and maximize assets while delivering profit.
  • Lead creation and alignment with Trade Marketing KO Modern on the implementation of commercial and execution strategies for reshfreshment Sparkling brands including OBPPC, Communication, Brand/Portfolio launches, capabilities; ensure internal system alignment and deliver the required toolkits for the execution
  • Integrate business intelligence (CMI shopper, markets, channels) to formulate a holistic vision; to identifying growth opportunities for modern trade channel
  • Develop Consumer and Market kits for all the initiatives with quality and time, to implement the execution through the regions.


  • Expertise in leading complex negotiations and ability to accelerate business relationships based upon a deep understanding and knowledge of the market/customer
  • Exceptional influencing skills
  • Data Analysis / Interpretation - ability to understand complex research data and ability to explain to Customers, Bottlers, etc. in a way that is meaningful to their business needs.
  • Strategy Development through execution
  • Understands the complexities of the System including bottler economics and System leverages, processes and tools to optimize solutions in the marketplace
  • Build Customer and Commercial Leadership knowledge and capabilities in the system to achieve long-term growth
    • Understands industry research and trends and anticipates future customer or market needs
    • Leverages own relentless curiosity about consumers and shoppers to identify commercial opportunities that influence shopper/consumer behaviour.
    • Ability to generate new ways of thinking about consumers and our business (e.g. experiential marketing/intuitive trend forecasting/product innovation)
    • Team working & sense of urgency
    • Understands industry research and trends and anticipates future customer or market needs
    • KO Operations and Franchise Leadership knowledge
    • Strategies Development & Execution


  • +4/+5 years' experience on KO System or related experience.
  • Possess strong background in developing unique marketing/trade marketing strategies to meet consumer needs.
  • Demonstrated cross-functional team leadership experience
  • Modern Trade or related experience with consumers (2-3 years)
  • Technical knowledge to develop new capabilities to the system
