Job Description Summary:

Assist finance manager for full P&L management, planning, reporting, financial analysis, internal controls and people development. Key member of CPS China finance team and plant FLT team.

People Management

  • Assist finance manager at plan and supervise departmental work
  • Assist finance manager to Improve team members business and professional capability

Business Partnership

  • Participate as key member within project team (especially for PI and E2E project)
  • Promote understanding of financial aspects of plant operational issues
  • Assist finance manager to coach management team to improve understanding of plant financials
  • Participate in and drive improvements to S&OP and MRB processes
  • Assist finance manager lead projects to reduce total supply chain cost / create value, influencing all stakeholders to ensure savings can be delivered
  • Maintain and grow partnership with Business Unit Finance, CPS Globe Finance and other functions

Manage P&L

  • Supervise all financial accounting for plant and make sure is completed to CPS / Corporate requirements and deadlines
  • Leading prepare and submit monthly rolling estimate following CPS guidelines and deadlines
  • Leading provide analysis and narratives for all major variances and ensure any issues are followed up and resolved
  • Assist Finance manager to control budgeted costs
  • Assist Finance manager to proactively identify and communicate Risks and Opportunities and drive initiatives to capture Opportunities / mitigate Risks
  • Ensure regular routine in place to share financial results with FLT team

Manage Financial Accounting

  • Supervise all financial accounting for plant and make sure it is completed to CPS / China BU / Corporate requirements
  • Assist finance manager to maintain and grow relationship with China Business Unit Finance and shared services
  • Assist finance manager to supervise and manage accounting for Balance sheet and P&L
  • Meet all deadlines

Manage Annual Planning process

  • Leading region standards process and ensure all deadlines met with quality analysis and commentary
  • Manage timetable and communicate to plant management / planning / procurement staff
  • Assist Finance manager to ensure key inputs are prepared and approved within CPS guidelines / deadlines
  • Assist Finance manager to prepare detailed analysis to assist communication with divisions
  • Leading preparation of business plan P&L to CPS guidelines and deadlines

Costing and Financial Analysis

  • Supervise and ensure standard costs for new products delivered within required project timelines
  • Provide financial analysis as required
  • Support Finance manager as required

Manage Internal Controls, assist Finance Manager in

  • Ensure CPS China meets all CAD requirements
  • Ensure compliance with company and CPS DOA in all respects
  • Lead a culture of control in plant management team

Deliver CPS goal of “no high risks, no repeats” during internal audits
