This position is responsible for the technical governance and quality stewardship of immediate consumption beverages for Foodservice. The primary function is to develop and execute strategies, processes, and programs to ensure compliance to The Company's beverage standards.
Responsibilities include reporting and analyzing data; developing recommendations and implementing customer plans to address quality gaps and/or improve the quality of our beverages; developing and maintaining technical documents in support of beverage quality and food safety; and to maximize compliance.
This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in addition to effective communication with all stakeholders. Collaborations include Customer Operations, Sales, Field Service, Account Teams, Research and Development, Company-owned syrup plants, Commercialization, and Commercial Leadership.
Function Specific Activities:
- Create technical documents to outline and communicate beverage quality and food safety standards for Foodservice in compliance with TCCC requirements.
- Manage and/or conduct audits of fountain customers to evaluate conformance to the standards and specifications for beverage quality and food safety.
- Analyze and report beverage quality attributes to account teams in accordance with continuous improvement approach and mindset.
- Ensure end-to-end beverage quality for Foodservice by identifying risks and non-compliances, ensuring corrective action, and documenting preventative actions.
- Lead laboratory activities related to beverage quality and food safety - including the evaluation of new products and dispensing equipment.
- Serve as subject matter expert to Foodservice stakeholders relative to syrup quality, water quality, water filtration, beverage quality, and equipment applications.
Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Biology, or other related technical discipline.
Related Work Experience: 10+ years of experience in engineering, quality assurance, manufacturing, field service, or plant operations. Experience with customer teams and audits is preferred.
