Position Overview

This role is responsible for supporting the Accounts Payable Operations and Payment Managers in its local geography through depth of knowledge in The Coca-Cola Company's Accounts Payable processes and systems. The role will continually collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient and timely execution of accounts payable and related activities. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support region's Accounts Payable Operations Manager and Payment Manager in coordination with Managed Service Provider (MSP) to ensure effective delivery of day-to-day accounts payables and related services, including month end close process, journal entries, account reconciliations, and local requirements (1099, VAT, etc.).

  • Serve as Accounts Payable SME to internal and external clients to deliver efficient AP and related services including providing training to end-users to drive adoption of standard processes and systems to improve productivity and client satisfaction. Respond to ad-hoc requests and queries from the business.

  • Review relevant metrics and reports to ensure resolution of day-to-day queries and complex/technical issues arising from both the MSP and client on a timely basis.

  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, guidelines, and local reporting regulations to support a strong internal control environment and assist with Corporate Audits. Assist with systems upgrade testing and preparations.

What you need to be successful

  • University/Bachelor's Degree

  • At least 5+ years of accounts payable/accounting experience with at least 2 years in multinational shared services/BPO environment

  • At least 5 years of Accounts Payable/Accounting and 2 years in some type of leadership role

  • Must be fluent in English language

  • Strong problem solving, decision making, and analytical thinking skills

  • Strong SAP and Excel skills

  • Knowledge of accounting, systems and internal controls
