Job Description Summary:Performs routine assignments related to the maintenance and/or repair of plant building(s) or machinery; may establish standards and policies regarding pollution control, testing operating procedure and maintenance of equipment; may coach new operators or technicians for the equipment operation and simple maintenance; may research and recommend purchase of new equipment and systems.
Conduct troubleshooting for all the facilities and machines in R&D pilot plant for daily operation, include the aseptic filling production line, cold/hot filling production line, manual filling machines and the processing machines (homogenizers, high shear mixer, extractor, etc.)
Regularly check and record the conditions of all the machines and facilities, and lead to conduct the necessary maintenance or repairs for the facilities and machines both mechanical and electrical issues in R&D pilot plant.
Write and update the standard of operation for the machines, and coach the operators and technicians to operate the machines and do some repairs.
Build and manage the list and quantity of necessary spare parts of all the facilities and machines (include all the tools) base on the history issues, to make sure the routine operation smoothly.
Support to conduct the overhaul for production lines, list up the spare parts and gasket kits for the overhaul with suppliers, check and clarify the spare parts and gasket kits, explain and coach the operators and technicians to understand the drawings of machines, valves, etc.
Perform preventative maintenance/solutions on production machinery and facilities according to supplier suggestions or manual requirements of the machines.
Cooperate with R&D engineers and scientists to conduct new product and process testing, new equipment validation.
Provide the suggestion for new equipment or facility from the aspects of maintenance, operation and utility.
