Position Overview

The focus of the role is to provide service support for the day-to-day operations of the payroll team across the different processes within the team including delivery and accounting tasks.  The role ensures the payroll team provides a high level of employer services to associates. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the regional team in capturing key metrics, including timeliness, accuracy, and CSAT, and reporting of the metrics to the Global organization

  • Track and analyze regional defects and turning into process improvements - either quick wins or longer-term improvement initiatives

  • Ensure complete and current process documentation for payroll process activities. Includes direct preparation of end to end process maps, and indirect (leading others) to complete desk top procedures.

  • Case management process performance: ensuring timely handling of associate facing and baseline case process. Ensure team members are following the global standard model and meeting SLAs.

  • Case management analysis: analyzing trends; recommending and leading improvements to reduce case volume and increase compliance with SLAs to improve customer experience.

  • Lead and participate on global payroll initiatives.

  • Capture from payroll partners legislation changes that impact payroll and sharing with payroll team to ensure governance and execution of actions either within managed service vendors or internally as appropriate.

What You Need to be Successful

  • University/Bachelor's Degree

  • 5+ years of experience in Payroll: understand the process for pre-payroll, payroll delivery, and post-payroll accounting for the countries within the region

  • Knowledge of payroll accounting and payroll delivery is preferable

  • Project management and operational excellence concepts

  • Strong systems, Workday, SAP & Excel skills
