Job Description Summary

Midwest Area Sales Manager for the Natural Channel

Function Specific Activities:

Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales and close distribution voids in Whole Foods and Natural Channel independents such as Fresh Thyme, INFRA, NCG, Earth Fare and Natural Grocers. 
  • Work closely with the broker & distributor network to ensure promotions are executed, new items roll outs are implemented properly, sell in case stack deals, and verify everyday and promoted pricing is accurate. 
  • Support marketing in execution of demos & merchandising programs at retail by ensuring enough product is ordered and gaining incremental placement.
  • Create display events in our Independents. 
  • Manage & support various trade shows as needed including UNFI and KeHE Tabletop shows.
  • Create an organizational system to track distribution voids closed, case stack deals sold and promotional programs solidified. 

Skills & Knowledge Requirements

  • 30-40% travel is required. 
  • 2-5yrs of Sales experience with a Natural CPG company.
  • Experience working in the Natural Products industry is Required. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced company with an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Computer literacy in the G Suite, Powerpoint, MS Word, and Excel.
