Senior Manager, Media Operations France

Job Title: Senior Manager, Media Operations

At The Coca‑Cola Company, our purpose is to refresh the world and make a difference—and connection with consumers through authentic, impactful experiences is at the heart of how we grow. In today’s dynamic digital media landscape, creating meaningful brand conversations requires precision, creativity, and agility. That’s where this role comes in. As Senior Manager, Media Operations for France, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring Coca‑Cola brands show up in the right places, at the right times, and with the right voice. You will translate operating unit strategies into effective media planning and activation, harnessing data-driven decisions and maximizing investment value to drive competitive advantage. This role blends marketing expertise, cross-functional partnership, and operational excellence in an environment where performance, measurement, and innovation matter more than ever.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in media strategy and activation, understands evolving digital landscapes, and leverages technology and measurement tools to optimize portfolio performance. If you are passionate about creating stronger brand connections in a dynamic marketplace while operating at scale across multiple stakeholders, this is where you can have impact—and help Coca‑Cola continue shaping the next era of consumer engagement.

What You’ll Do for Us

  • Translate operating unit connection strategies into integrated, efficient media plans that enable brand programs to outperform on key metrics.
  • Collaborate closely with frontline marketing teams and area directors to align media activation priorities with brand objectives and competitive intelligence.
  • Partner with procurement and external media agencies to coordinate planning and buying activities, ensuring negotiations deliver optimal value and productivity.
  • Monitor media investments against planned budgets, approve agency shifts and invoices, and identify actionable corrections to maintain alignment across campaigns.
  • Prepare and report budget evolution insights, validating purchase orders and spend approvals with accuracy and transparency.
  • Confirm adherence to recommended DMI allocation by brand and channel, optimizing mix for portfolio relevance across touchpoints.
  • Oversee compliance with Coca‑Cola’s Responsible Marketing Policy and track performance against productivity and ROI expectations using established KPIs.
  • Support market-facing teams with clear, connected media calendars that integrate global strategies with localized execution opportunities.
  • Connect media planning with real-time social amplification by partnering with IMX teams, leveraging timely content that enhances brand impact.
  • Share best practices from global and other operating units to introduce scalable improvements in media planning and negotiation processes.
  • Strengthen measurement frameworks by enhancing utilization of digital tools and protocols, enabling greater insight for future planning cycles.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field; equivalent practical experience accepted.
  • 8+ years’ experience in media planning, media strategy, and activation, with exposure to negotiation and performance analytics.
  • Proven experience managing media agency relationships and activating across multiple channels including social and digital platforms.
  • Deep understanding of changing media landscapes, including data-driven targeting and content personalization.
  • Ability to manage and report large, complex budgets with precision and accountability.
  • Fluency in French (required) and proficiency in English for cross-regional collaboration.
  • Preference for candidates with prior agency or media vendor experience and those familiar with on-the-ground marketing practices.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with success working in cross-functional, multi-market teams to deliver integrated plans.
  • High digital fluency—comfort with analytics, planning tools, and emerging media technologies.
  • Skilled at building alignment and influencing stakeholders through clarity and insight without formal authority.

What We’ll Do for You

  • Provide exposure to integrated marketing practices that shape how Coca‑Cola brands connect with consumers across diverse touchpoints.
  • Enable opportunities to lead complex media projects with impact across multiple campaigns and stakeholders.
  • Support development through access to advanced measurement tools and performance methodologies that define modern media strategies.
  • Offer a collaborative environment where global best practices meet local relevance, empowering innovation in media planning and operations.
