Director, Public Policy and Public Affairs, Communications & Sustainability (PACS) – Singapore
As part of our Public Affairs, Communications and Sustainability (PACS) team in the ASEAN & South Pacific (ASP) region, you will work with an amazing group of people in The Coca-Cola Company and our bottling partners to bring our mission to life: to refresh the world and make a difference.
You will represent our company in engaging with government, industry, and other stakeholders to advance the company’s positions and highlight the work we do in sustainability and our communities. In partnership with our communications team, you will also share our stories with stakeholders, consumers, and across our internal and external networks.
Public Policy Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of assigned strategic public policy projects and campaigns to support business priorities in ASP region.
- Lead and shape stakeholder engagement programs with key policymakers, senior government officials, industry associations, and multilateral bodies to advocate for industry and company positions.
- Represent the company in regional industry platforms, regulatory consultations, and policy dialogues.
- Develop playbooks and drive alignment with system teams to address current and emerging public policy risks and opportunities.
- Refine our systems to track and calibrate strategies in response to the evolving regulatory landscape, geopolitical risks, and policy trends, driving strategic decision-making for the business.
- Regional travel will be required.
Singapore PACS Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of Singapore’s PACS strategy and work plans, including collaboration with internal and external teams (e.g., bottlers, trade and industry associations, public affairs and communications agencies).
- Lead and execute legislative and regulatory advocacy to support our business and industry needs in Singapore.
- Strategize, cultivate, and strengthen key stakeholder relationships, including with government ministries, agencies, industry & trade associations, think tanks, and media.
- Develop and implement Singapore PACS’ communications strategy to support business and corporate goals.
- Enhance our corporate reputation through stakeholder and media engagement, community affairs, and sustainability activities.
- Oversee routines, reporting, and performance metrics for Singapore’s PACS plans, budget, and business success indicators.
- Oversee the Incident and Crisis Management process for Singapore in close collaboration with bottlers and Technical and Supply Chain teams.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., public affairs, communications, public policy, and/or sustainability) is preferred.
- More than 8 years of relevant experience in the public and/or private sector, with a strong track record of managing internal and external stakeholders in highly matrixed organizations.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing national and regional advocacy strategies.
- High level of familiarity with current public policy issues that impact our company and industry.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues effectively to drive tangible business outcomes.
- Capable of handling challenging regulatory scenarios and business crises calmly and effectively.

- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong ability to influence and to manage stakeholders and synthesize multiple concepts to define and execute long-term public affairs, communications and sustainability strategies and work plans.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
