Director, Regional Operations – Hokkaido & Michinoku
At the Coca-Cola Company, we work collaboratively to find new and innovative ways to strategically move the business forward by leading, developing and executing in the market, together with our customers and bottling partners. We’re looking for a candidate who can develop marketing & commercial strategies, with proven ability to implement initiatives and decipher market data to make an impact for the world’s most recognized brands. You’ll execute strategies with bottling partners and assist management with identifying opportunities, providing recommendations and implementing key initiatives. The successful candidate needs to demonstrate his/her ability to execute highly complex or specialized projects in the commercial marketplace.
What You’ll Do for Us
- Leads and facilitates the annual business planning process with the bottler, in partnership with CCJC category and channel leads.
- Partners closely with the bottlers to execute all channel x category plans on time, in full and with impact.
- Leads Performance Management routines with the bottler to identify issues/opportunities across channels x categories and orchestrates actions to meet business plan targets (revenue, volume, share & profit).
- Champions Execution Excellence with the bottler for all channels, most especially in SMDD and Eating & Drinking.
- This role will also lead the Execution Excellence agenda and capability building for all Japan bottlers.
- Bottler accountability: Hokkaido & Michinoku
Qualification & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Business or related field, Master’s degree is preferred.
- 10+ years of commercial experience with a global consumer packaged goods company
- Must have experience with annual business planning, forecasting, customer and channel execution
- Must possess excellent relationship building skills, as well as strategic leadership.
- Strong understanding of business financials
