Primary Job Location: (USA) Candidates must be currently located in or willing to relocate to the Atlanta, Georgia area.

Travel: Up to 25% travel and requires a minimum of 3 days per week in the office at either base location (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Preferred Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of experience in sustainability data management or a related field.

The Sustainability Data Manager of the North America Operating Unit (NAOU) at The Coca-Cola Company is responsible for overseeing the data infrastructure that supports our sustainability initiatives within the region. This role involves managing data collection, ensuring compliance with sustainability goals, and driving data-driven decision-making in collaboration with various departments to advance NAOU’s sustainability objectives.

What You’ll Do for Us:

Data Collection and Management:

  • Lead the collection, validation, and organization of sustainability-related data specific to NAOU. Collaborate both cross-functional & through network teams across NAOU, including Corporate Sustainability, Franchise Bottlers, Fairlife, Body Armor, Sustainability Finance, Supply chain, operations, and PACs, to collect, process and validate sustainability data.
  • Implement systems and processes to maintain data integrity, consistency, and accessibility across the region.
  • Manage a centralized repository KOSMOS for sustainability data

Sustainability Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare detailed sustainability reports tailored to internal and external stakeholders within NAOU.
  • Analyze bottler data to identify trends, assess sustainability performance, and guide strategic planning.
  • Design visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate sustainability metrics for NAOU.
  • Identify regional opportunities for data-driven improvements in sustainability performance.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional & network teams across NAOU and Foster partnerships with external stakeholders.
  • Act as a key liaison for sustainability data initiatives and inquiries within NAOU for corporate and business entities.
  • Ensure that all required data sets related to NAOU Quality, Safety and Environment (QSE) metrics are reviewed, analyzed and submitted.
  • Drive and participate in cross functional routines related to all external and internal reporting.
  • Monitor and drive efficiency in the data management process, starting from data collection at facilities to qualifying the data for reporting progress against our commitments, both internally and externally.
  • Analyze the collected data for accuracy and completion. Be an enabler and leverage technology and data management expertise to drive improvement in timeliness and accuracy of the data. 
  • Collaborate with cross functional, cross geography team members to improve and enhance the process of data governance. Design and implement required checks and measures to enhance robustness of the process.
  • Enhance system capability to leverage best in class digital platforms to capture the required data in timely and accurate manner.
  • Become the subject matter expert to understand and leverage all functionalities of the existing digital platforms
  • Be a key contributor in enabling the implementation of new digital platforms across the Coca-Cola system.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in sustainability data management or a related field.
  • Understanding of sustainability metrics, reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, CDP), and environmental regulations, with a focus on North America.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Azure and other data tools).
  • Proven experience in delivering Master Data Management, Data Governance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights effectively.
  • Ability to collaborate within a large network organization.
  • Commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
  • Proven experience in delivering Master Data Management, Data Governance.
  • Data analytics, big data driven trend analysis, insights development.
  • Familiarity with lifecycle assessment (LCA) and resource efficiency metrics.
  • Certification in sustainability reporting or environmental management.

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
