Maintenance Parts Clerk
Role and Major Responsibilities of Position:
The Maintenance Parts Clerk performs administrative duties for the Maintenance Department and verifies the inventory of the Maintenance Department.
Provide administrative support as needed, including accurate data entry, filling, and record keeping. All purchases regardless of account assignment will require a Goods Receipt in SAP S/4. Action can be taken on the materials located through the material cockpit such as direct links to MM02 as well as several other transactions. Ensure that relevant reporting is done as per reporting schedules. Ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental policies and procedures and applicable.
KPI:
Improved material availability check data for reserved materials (Flori). The Daily Dashboard includes storeroom metrics such as Past Due Deliveries and Expected Receipts. Implementation & identification of cost-saving initiatives related to inventory management.
Minimum Requirements for Position: (Education, skills, experience, etc.)
Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering /Diploma in Inventory and Logistics management. Minimum 3 years of experience working in a Food Processing Plant. Proven experience working with similar role, preferably in engineering or technical department.
Computer literacy is an essential requirement; however, basic Email knowledge and at least MS Excel and Word basic package knowledge would be an advantage.
