CPS AR QSE Director

What You’ll Do For Us:

Serve as a member of the plant Leadership Team and act as a key player in driving the transformation of CPS owning and optimizing the QSE team’s engagement. Ensure QSE goal/priority are adequately integrated in the annual business plan process, and CAPEX process if needed.

Build and maintain a worldwide network within the Company with a broad culture diversity. This includes other concentrate plants around the world, Corporate QSE, CPS QSE function, Operating Unit, our Bottlers and Suppliers.

Support the Transformation initiatives aligned with CPS and drive change and continuous improvement in QSE processes.

Provide strategic leadership and collaborate with stakeholders, ensuring the implementation of global safety strategy, effective risk management, and regulatory compliance. Continuously cultivate a culture of safety across the organization.

Management of quality standardized and capabilities, product specifications, processes and performance for ingredient and packaging materials.

Ensure that Formula, SRA and Technical data meet Company specifications and Business requirements

Steward the plant technical sustainability strategy, commitments, initiatives and prioritization. Ensure accelerated progress of sustainability commitments across water, carbon/climate and packaging, based on robust Glidepath till 2035.

Define the QSE performance indicators and implement the routine to review these indicators.

Continual research and identification of new technologies and processes to improve quality, as well as the ability to apply concepts to reduce process variation, improve quality, and optimize cost.

Provide Quality Leadership, in collaboration with Supplier Corporate Leadership, to optimize delivered quality performance and capabilities for incoming package materials.

Lead strategic problem solving; lead and track corrective action plans in order to ensure completion of all items in the specified time frame.  Drive sustainable improvements to prevent reoccurring safety and quality events or disruptions to filling operations.

Lead site-level QSE communication collecting and sharing information relevant to Company business. This can include reporting quality and safety event investigation results and findings from assigned deep dive projects.

Manage the QSE budget and support transformation strategies.

Ensure the integration of QSE requirements in the validation of all procedures and changes related to manufacturing processes.

Responsible for evaluating/monitoring the capacity and defining and implementing development plans to ensure the QSE area has the capability and expertise to deliver the required business support

Comply with the guidelines for Food Safety, Integrated Management System (Quality, Environment, Safety, and Occupational Health), Corporate KORE Standards, and any other applicable legal requirements established or subscribed by the Company related to your job position, adhering to internal policies, plans, and procedures that ensure proper implementation and continuous improvement of the company.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Engineering, related technical field.

10+ years’ experience in a technical area such as R&D product development, laboratory management, quality systems, and/or engineering background.

Knowledge of statistics, including fundamental analyses with the ability to demonstrated proven analytical skills resulting in decision making that protects the safety of associates, customer, consumer and the brand.

Strong working knowledge of Quality Systems, Quality Assurance Principles and Food safety

Previous experience with project management, continuous improvement, Lean Six Sigma

Knowledge of manufacturing and process controls for beverage ingredient and packaging

Protect information provided in confidence from outside sources (bottlers and other business partners) and ensure this information is not disseminated to those not directly involved.

Establish relationships and work effectively with external individuals/parties (e.g., customers, bottlers, consumers, communities, government agencies, vendors, suppliers) to create opportunities for the Company to meet financial goals.

Build and develop relationships with peers and others to exchange feedback on product/service issues, identify and/or solve problems, assess needs, and/or achieve business results.

Build an understanding of the customer/client/partner needs and expectations within your area of accountability.

Strong influencing skills to drive QSE objectives throughout the manufacturing processes and site.
