Corporate Finance Intern (BODYARMOR)

BODYARMOR is looking for a Corporate Commercial Intern to join our team.
As a BODYARMOR Corporate Commercial intern you will be responsible for the support of the Corporate Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Accounting teams. The work week will be focused on providing assistance across all functions of the department and being a team player taking on tasks across multiple disciplines. Your manager will set weekly schedules and interns are expected to be available Monday through Friday. This Internship will involve travel to and from our corporate office in Whitestone, NY as well as remote work (our team alternates weekly between in person and remote work).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Learn customer sales and accounts receivable process.
- Customer cash application – help apply customer payments that are deposited via ACH and Lockbox
- Short Pay Tracker – assist the AR Team with tracking payment discrepancies to ensure discrepancies are identified and resolved in a timely manner.
- Learn more about vendor billing and applying them in NetSuite.
- Make sure bills are correct and entered in a timely manner.
- Tracking AP for vendors – update the AP aging for vendors.
- Assist with Supply Chain Finance projects.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have completed Junior year of college curriculum
- Strong analysis, creative thinking, planning, organizing and problem-solving skills
- Passion for understanding systems and attention to detail!
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to be present in corporate office every other week (Whitestone, NY)
Monthly Compensation
$3,400-$6,700 dependent on job and degree type
