Head of Water
Job Description
- The role of this position is to lead brand marketing for total Water Category. The position is responsible for managing and driving Water business growth with multiple brands portfolio both in Japan and Korea
- Lead business growth strategy & execution planning to deliver short and mid/long-term growth
- The responsibility includes 1) Category P/L Management 2) Growth strategy & execution planning through LRP (long range planning) and ABP (annual business planning) process 3) Consumer centric innovation pipeline development 4) Strong commercial integration including right OBPPC and RGM strategy 5) Internal and external key stakeholder management 6) Leading global network communication and co-creation initiatives 7) Leading people to create winning high performing team through capability, culture and career development
What You’ll Do for Us
- Lead the development of the Mid-long range Strategic Business Plan and Annual Business Plan for sustainable growth and establish optimal water portfolio with a clear prioritization in order to deliver overall category vision, business objectives and financial targets
- Category system financial and brand performance management with course correction recommendations for both markets
- Develop the brand vision, positioning to growth paths, and nurturing the brand with clear edge, leveraging consumer insights, competitive understanding, and other market/OU learnings
- Lead brand marketing communication and content development, while closely collaborating with IMX team for winning E2EE plan creation and execution
- Lead annual and long-term winning innovation (including OBPPC) strategy/pipeline development with timely alignment with key stakeholder
- Partner with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders (e.g. customers, bottlers, suppliers/ agencies) to generate optimal business solution for a continuous growth
- Orchestrate the team for solid brand initiative planning and execution together with brand marketing calendar development (such as products, packages, communications and promotion/commercial activities)
- With enterprise mindset, connect closely with the Global community network to share best cases, learn global strategy and when needed, ensure local market dynamics and consumer insights are well reflected in global water strategy
- Representing the category at key alignment occasions including business planning routines with global community, OU other functions and local bottlers
- Manage category budget in alignment with brand strategy and productivity guidelines
- Lead and engage solid team in both Japan and Korea by developing talent capability, careers and winning team culture
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong passion to lead the business and deliver results
- Strategic thinking and planning capability and portfolio management
- Proven track record of leading complex projects, understanding business financial, market and consumer environment
- Full of curiosity to identify opportunity with consumer centric mind-set and be open-minded for new challenges, new ways of working
- Good leadership and communication skills to influence many stakeholders internally and externally
- Global communication skill with enterprise mindset to participate in global community, co-creating global initiatives
