Public Affairs, Communications, and Sustainability (PACS) Manager – Colombia & Venezuela – FIX TERM POSITION

As a Public Affairs, Communications, and Sustainability (PACS) Manager, you will have the opportunity to build and protect the reputation of The Coca-Cola Company and its brands in Colombia and Venezuela with a focus on national media, local government and non-governmental organizations, pressure groups and employees.

In this position, you will support an integrated approach to the development and implementation of external, internal and brand communications strategies and plans as developed by the LATAM Communication function and Operations leaders.

Fix-Term Role: 6 Months

What You’ll Do for Us:

  • Lead corporate communication and brand PR, communications crisis management, as well as strategic projects and initiatives around ESG Coordinate communications/media reports for LATAM and Center region.
  • With ‘the end in mind’ which is to help achieve TCCC sustainability annual goals in local markets, design and deliver sustainability engagement and behavior change programs and initiatives in alignment with company priorities, strategies, aspirations, as well as local business needs.
  • Foster and drive proactive media relations in today’s new media environment. Manage timely response to media inquiries and deliver consistent messaging in a professional manner when necessary.
  • Manage and align both sustainability and communications strategy with Public Affairs and regulations.
  • Closely work with marketing function team to external and brand PR communications and campaigns.
  • Closely work with the Bottling partner public affairs team to align external communications, campaigns, initiatives, and investments.
  • Assist the PACS Director in ensuring delivery on the PACS ABPs (Annual Business Plans) and LRPs (Long-range Plans), as well as overseeing management of local PACS budget to ensure programs are executed within budget parameters.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • +7 years of experience in corporate affairs, corporate communications, communications crisis management, public relations and / or sustainability management, with key multinational companies or post graduate studies (preferred).
  • Experience in managing media, including critical media.
  • Bachelor´s degree in communication fields, public relations, political science, international relations, or sustainability.
  • Excellent written, verbal communications, and presentation skills in both English and Spanish are expected.
  • Collaborative, network-oriented mindset.
  • Strong ability to work agilely in different teams, both inside & outside of the system.
  • Able to balance multiple priorities simultaneously; Deals quickly with the unexpected and manages crises effectively and successfully.
  • Strong strategic vision to design the comms plan balanced with the ability to assure effective implementation.
