Senior Manager, Operations Finance
Position Overview:
A successful Senior Manager, Operations Finance is one who can create and execute a strong finance strategy within the Franchise to drive growth and profitability
Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Franchise’s P&L, including pro-actively managing risks & opportunities, providing predictability and to the extent possible, stability to the operation’s key financial performance metrics.
- Partner with senior leaders and manage all Franchise and/or Customer activities at the Franchise level, to drive alignment across multiple senior stakeholders, and to develop the key insights needed to inform strategic priorities, including:
- Manage Senior franchise (bottler) and customer relationships
- Gain insights and brainstorm with customers/Bottlers on business issues; Prepare & support internal stakeholders on on-going negotiations
- Rebate and deduction negotiations with external parties
- Implement global/OU resource allocation strategy
- Set spend objectives and requirements (joint planning with bottlers / customers)
- Set rebate and deduction strategy, manage financial negotiations
- Quantitative and qualitative Bottler/Customer info
- Assess Financial implications and models on new ARTM and optimization of current value chain (use of third party, plant closure…)
- Manage all Business Models and Margins within the Franchise, including:
- Strategic thinking on business models optimization and system top line growth
- Assessment and segmentation by market
- Develop, implement Margin optimization strategy across the entire value chain
- Margins center of excellence across the system
- Bring margins discipline to operational business decisions
- Set, track and be accountable for margins objectives
- Leverage the network and execute locally Global margin strategy
- Support Mergers & Acquisitions and Revenue growth Management:
- Main contact point for M&A analysis and assessment
- Lead the financial implementation of new business models
- Main point of contact for legal/Tax/Treasury/M&A
- Support Financially all RGM initiatives
- Determine pricing strategy and objectives
- Provide Financial input into new product / service development process
Enable an agile way of working partnering with OU, Platform Services and Genpact teams
Analyze and Execute Working Capital and Cash Management:
- Analyze Working Capital (CPS/SC/OU) for Optimization
- Identify and set optimization actions
- Cash management optimization Analyses
- Identify and set Optimization actions
- Interact with stakeholders and influence
Education Requirements:
- University degree in Finance, Economics or Business
Related Work Experience:
- >3 years of leadership experience in financial planning or commercial finance roles
- Ability to work in a diverse cultural environment as a highly efficient communicator and influencer at all levels
Functional
- Role model the “Leadership in the Network” definition
- Provide holistic understanding of business performance inside the Franchise,
- Execute end-to-end business planning inside the FO, working cross functionally inside the organization and coordinating with the RFD
- Use a fact-based, analytic, strategic approach to collaborating across OU
- This role is responsible for partnering internally as well as externally to effectively drive financial outcomes, as well as to build alignment on key initiatives and metrics
- This role will need to lead through influence leadership and members of the OU Finance and Platform Services teams
