Director, Innovation & Foresight Science

In partnership with marketing innovation teams, R&D, analytics, and external collaborators, you will design protocols and enable the organization to deploy leading-edge approaches globally. Together, we’ll create scalable solutions that combine human understanding with AI technologies to unlock growth across short-, mid-, and long-term horizons.
What You’ll Do for Us

Develop and integrate consumer science and foresight methodologies into Coca‑Cola’s innovation workflows, enhancing how ideas and opportunities are identified, sized, and prioritized.

Design frameworks for concept testing, bundle evaluation, and simulation tools that support faster and more confident innovation decisions.

Pioneer responsible applications of AI and synthetic data approaches in partnership with Digital Technology Services (DTS) and analytics teams to complement traditional insight methods.

Create protocols for scanning cultural, behavioral, and technology trends, translating early signals into structured opportunity spaces.

Build architectures for predictive modeling and scenario simulation that inform portfolio decisions and adoption dynamics.

Define enablement tools, playbooks, and processes that make advanced methodologies usable for marketing innovation teams and local markets.

Partner closely with insights, category leadership, and innovation hubs to integrate foresight principles into decision-making processes without assuming commercial execution accountability.

Contribute to evolving workflows across Global Insights & Portfolio Management by introducing advanced technologies and process efficiencies.

Serve as a thought partner to innovation leadership, providing evidence-based insight systems that frame risk and opportunity clearly.

Foster a culture of digital fluency, experimentation, and analytics-driven thinking across innovation and marketing teams.
Requirements & Qualifications

Advanced degree preferred (MBA, MSc, PhD) in a relevant field such as marketing science, analytics, behavioral science, or technology; equivalent experience considered.

8+ years in consumer insights, foresight, analytics, or related areas with substantial experience in innovation-focused research.

Strong background in foresight methodologies, opportunity mapping, trend scanning, and early-signal detection.

Experience applying AI-driven research techniques, synthetic data approaches, and machine-supported workflows within a structured governance system.

Proficiency in predictive modeling, simulation techniques, and innovation testing frameworks for products, services, and ecosystems.

Ability to integrate multiple data streams—including cultural, consumer, and market—into comprehensive decision frameworks.

Skilled in creating standards, toolkits, and scalable models adapted for global and local deployment.

Demonstrated success translating technical concepts into actionable insights for senior-level business stakeholders.

Collaborative mindset with experience influencing decision-making in a matrix organization working across marketing, technology, and R&D teams.
