Accountant (Global Mobility)
The Consultant, Global Mobility Tax Accountant will support the Global Mobility Tax Manager’s role in mobile assignee-related compensation and benefits expenses. This position supports Platform Services – global mobility, payroll accounting and payroll delivery, in the APAC region.
What You’ll Do for Us:

Prepare Compensation Accumulation Forms (CAF) by consolidating payroll and benefit data from multiple sources in accordance with company policy, ensuring timely and accurate submission aligned with Global Mobility deadlines.

Support payroll delivery teams in the accurate and timely processing of mobile assignee compensation across home and host payrolls.

Coordinate with external tax service providers to support the timely settlement of employee tax obligations, including providing required data and tracking outputs.

Act as a point of contact for mobility and equity-related queries, supporting internal stakeholders and employees on payroll processing, data inputs, and reporting matters.

Assist in the processing of equity compensation through local payroll, including preparation of inputs, validation of payroll outputs, and ensuring transactions are accurately reflected.

Track and reconcile tax settlements related to long-term incentives, ensuring amounts are properly reflected, collected, or refunded through payroll.

Manage intercompany funding for equity-related payroll transactions, including raising funding requests and processing settlements to return excess funds to the brokerage account.

Perform balance sheet reconciliations for mobility-related income items, equity funding and payments, and employee receivables, ensuring accuracy and proper control.

Develop and maintain standardized processes, controls, and documentation, applying Operational Excellence principles to improve efficiency and compliance.

Track and monitor KPIs for mobility inputs and equity reporting, focusing on timeliness, accuracy, and overall process efficiency.
What We’re Looking For:
-
We are seeking an accounting and/or payroll professional with experience in multi-country payroll operations to support mobility and equity-related processes.
-
Self-driven and detail-oriented individual, able to work with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively across different teams.
-
Degree qualified.
-
Professional accounting qualification from a recognized body ( CPA / CIMA / ACCA).
-
3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting and/or payroll within a shared services environment or a Big 4 or similar professional services firm, supporting multi-country payroll operations, with working knowledge of APAC tax and social security regulations and exposure to mobility or equity programs.

Ability to establish and define processes, interdependencies, and key controls, driving continuous improvement to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of payroll operations.

Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications, particularly advanced Excel, with working knowledge of Workday.
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across diverse countries and cultures.
