Senior Director II – Supply Chain Operations (Advanced Hydration)

The Senior Director II, Supply Chain Category Operations: Advanced Hydration serves as the strategic supply chain partner and primary point of contact for the Advanced Hydration Category, accountable for end‑to‑end supply chain leadership from concept through commercialization and ongoing operations. This role ensures the Supply Chain function has the capabilities, capacity, and resilience required to flawlessly support category objectives, innovation pipelines, and long‑term growth.
As a core member of the Supply Chain Category Operations leadership team, this position owns supply chain results for the Advanced Hydration business, translating strategy into execution while influencing enterprise decision‑making. This executive leader demonstrates mature confidence and courage, navigates complex organizational dynamics, and adapts leadership style to meet the needs of shifting business priorities. Success requires strong political acumen, the ability to align cross‑functional partners, and a deep understanding of how supply chain decisions impact the broader enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Business Partnership

Serve as the senior supply chain leader and primary liaison to the Advanced Hydration leadership team, ensuring seamless alignment between category ambitions and supply chain strategy.

Act as the key point of contact across functional and enterprise partners, including Advanced Hydration Leads, E2E Planning & Forecasting, CCBSS, Engineering, Co‑Pack partners, TI&SC, Quality, Logistics, and other external stakeholders.

Build and sustain trusted partnerships with senior leadership to influence strategic decisions, enable innovation, and drive enterprise‑aligned outcomes.
End‑to‑End Supply Chain Execution

Lead and oversee supply chain support for annual commercial plans and innovation pipelines, from feasibility through commercialization and scale‑up.

Communicate supply chain product, service, and capability developments (e.g., new technologies, supplier strategies, capacity changes) to internal and external partners to inform business strategies and investment decisions.

Identify risks and opportunities across the supply network and implement mitigation and optimization strategies to ensure reliable, scalable, and cost‑effective supply.
Planning, Performance & Continuous Improvement
-
Own Long‑Range Planning (LRP) for the Advanced Hydration category, developing and executing 5–10‑year strategic plans that anticipate economic, technological, regulatory, and social trends.

Translate category and enterprise strategy into clear objectives, tactics, and metrics, assigning accountability, allocating resources, and tracking progress to deliver results.

Evaluate complex problems, generate strategic options, and make sound, timely decisions aligned with business priorities, supply chain resilience, and team expectations.
Financial, Operational & Talent Leadership

Drive operational and financial performance through robust data synthesis, scenario modeling, and end‑to‑end analysis.

Lead cost savings and avoidance initiatives using market intelligence, competitive benchmarking, and supplier performance insights.

Develop and champion process improvement initiatives across suppliers and internal partners, strengthening system capabilities and external relationships.

Establish clear expectations for project and matrix teams, fostering engagement, accountability, and high performance across formal and informal teams.
Qualifications:
Education
-
Bachelor’s Degree required
-
MBA or advanced degree preferred
Experience
-
10–15 years of progressive experience in supply chain, operations, or related functions
-
Proven leadership in complex, cross‑functional, matrixed organizations
-
Experience supporting innovation commercialization and category or platform leadership strongly preferred

Pay Range:
$181,000 – $221,000
Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
Annual Incentive Reference Value Percentage:
