Director, NA Control Tower, GDI

Job purpose summary
As NA Director Control Tower, you will ensure compliance to existing innovation tools and processes to drive innovation excellence and achieve TCCC strategic goals. You will continuously assess/improve tools and processes to ensure agility, efficiency, and speed to market. You will be a key contributor to the team engagement in facilitating ways of working through digitalization, connect with the other Innovation Centres Control Tower to bring harmonization and leverage synergies.
This role carries direct accountability for NA Innovation Center OPEX and CAPEX, while acting as the global orchestrator of Innovation Center budgets. You will consolidate investment views holistically—including President’s Office, Coke/Sprite, and Process teams—to enable informed trade‑offs and priority setting for the GDI President and senior leadership.
What You’ll Do
NA Innovation Center Activities
(Primary focus on NA operations, performance, and resource allocation)
- Set up and manage tool and routine to track and monitor NA resource allocation, bring visibility to leadership to facilitate efficient resource allocation aligned with priorities across OU’s and Global/local categories.
- Manage the NA Innovation Centre OPEX and CAPEX budget to enable to deliver regional and global priorities.
- Track, monitor, and analyse NA Innovation Center performance metrics in collaboration with NA TISC and Marketing PMO. Define, track, monitor and analyse additional performance metrics specific to the NA Innovation Center. Report gaps vs plan to leadership to enable to pivot with agility and deliver our commitment.
- Lead the design and execution of NA Innovation Center site visits, ensuring agendas are aligned to business priorities and measurable outcomes.
- Lead NA Innovation Sessions across Operating Units, in partnership with OU connectors, to promote cross‑pollination of best practices and maximizing impact on the innovation pipeline.
- Coordinate NA technical post‑project reviews and ensure proper documentation to drive continuous improvement.
- Create and maintain an escalation board to highlight risk of delay to OU and leadership.
- Document and share NA Innovation Center successes to increase visibility of achievements and impact.
- You will shape how innovation is planned, funded, tracked, and continuously improved—ensuring agility, transparency, and alignment with enterprise strategy—without direct people management authority, but with significant influence across NA partners and senior leaders.
Global GDI Orchestration Activities
(Enterprise‑wide coordination, alignment, and standardization)
- Consolidate a holistic Innovation Center investment view globally, orchestrating OPEX/CAPEX inputs from APAC, EMEA, LATAM and NA—while they retain local budget accountability.
- Integrate spend visibility across President’s Office, Coke/Sprite, and Process teams, enabling enterprise‑level insight and alignment.
- Support the GDI President with clear, forward‑looking insights on budget performance, risks, and investment trade‑offs.
- Co‑lead, together with other Innovation Center Control Towers, the Innovation Center Way‑of‑Working network, enabling cross‑center exchange of best practices, standards, and operating models.
- Coordinate and maximize tax and grants initiatives globally, collaborate with relevant government agencies to maximize incentives and support for TCCC innovation efforts.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) or master's degree in project management (preferred, not mandatory)
- 8–10 years of experience in beverage/food industry
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills across diverse cultures.
- Proven experience operating in complex, matrixed environments with senior level stakeholders across regions.
- Ability to:
- Champion digital tools and automation to improve speed, transparency, and decision quality.
- Enterprise mindset with the ability to connect strategy, investment, and execution.
- Financial and analytical acumen with experience managing and/or orchestrating OPEX and CAPEX.
- Exceptional stakeholder influence skills—able to drive alignment without direct authority.
- Comfort operating amid ambiguity, making informed decisions with incomplete information, and managing risk.
- Systems thinker who anticipates downstream impacts and optimizes for the enterprise, not silos.
- Coach and enabler who elevates others’ effectiveness across functions and regions.
- Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
- Regional travel up to ~20%.

Pay Range:
$149,000 – $173,000
Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
