Scientific and Regulatory Affairs (SRA) Compliance & Innovation Intern

The role of the SRA Compliance and Innovation Intern may include but is not limited to:

  • Key Function: Support SRA managers in project and innovation work: creating regulatory data such as ingredient statements and nutrition information, reviewing compliance of formulations across multiple beverage categories, and managing SRA product records within SRA systems.

  • Individual contributor that is fully proficient in applying established standards from SOPs and normal practices along with federal and state regulations.

  • Support compliance review processes for beverages in SRA systems, such as: Picasso, KOmply, Genesis Research and Development Software tool, and Salesforce tools.

  • Generate and ensure accuracy of nutritional data for product formulation on ingredient and formula levels.

  • Support entries of product formulations utilized by The Coca-Cola Company’s master harmonization IT system.

  • Provide review of ingredient documentation to ensure technical accuracy and regulatory compliance.

  • SRA related compliance type processes related to ingredients, packaging, claims, and communication.

  • Support in the development of competitive landscape assessments. 

  • Support in regulatory research and analysis projects as assigned.

  • Support in review of nutrient content and function claims.

  • Support of Kosher certification process

  • Serve as proxy in project calls where appropriate 

  • Support end-to-end product and nutrition data continuity

The optimal candidate will work independently and exhibits curiosity, inclusivity, iterative thinking and empowerment. The candidate should also have strong attention to detail. 

Regulatory experience in writing ingredient statements and creating nutritional data is optimal.
 

Location: Toronto, Canada 

Monthly Salary (undergraduate): $6,519 CAD

Dates of Internship: May 18 – July 31, 2026
