Consultant, Supply Chain Finance

The Inventory Consultant is responsible for ensuring NAOU representation and oversight for the inventory held at contract manufacturing and third-party warehouse locations.  This role has daily responsibility for ensuring each location understands and executes within NAOU Internal Controls and contracted terms of inventory handling which include performing audits, troubleshooting inventory variances, resolving Block Stock reporting, and periodic training of employees at external locations.  The role requires the ability to develop a rapport with internal and external stakeholders to foster communication, and frequently act as a liaison for Supply Chain Region Operations, Finance, and Contract Services.

What You’ll Do for Us

● Perform inventory validation by auditing physical inventory at external locations to ensure adherence to NA policy/contractual agreements and facilitate risk and fraud prevention

 ● Monthly monitoring of internal control procedures and assisting with remediation action plans

● Identify root cause and effective system solutions for Inventory discrepancies by partnering with the Co-packer, third-party warehouse, NA Finance, Co Man Manager(s) and other centralized teams

● Complete the specific SAP transaction(s) required to assist the co-packers or other centralized teams with maintaining inventory accuracy

● Establish weekly communication with the Co-packer and NAOU Co-Man Manager(s) to review, establish, and implement on a course of action for items on the Block Stock reporting

● Conduct Month End Reporting and distribute post close reports

● Request and track approval from Brand teams for BD&L activity, owning resolution for any follow-ups

● Assist centralized teams with the tracking of delivered materials (DMR) for the purpose of reporting down time, vendor returns and/or completion of Freight Claims

● Submit new vendor setups and change requests to ensure accuracy of Master Data

● Provide continuous SAP Training and new user setup support co-packers and third-party warehouses

● Work with NAOU Finance to arrange destruction shipments for and with external parties

● Ad Hoc (Research/ Troubleshooting)

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Associate Degree or above
  • 3+ years of hands on experience in Warehouse Inventory processes (wall-to-walls, inventory adjustments, cycle counts, auditing inventory procedures)  
  • SAP functional skills and data management experience
  • Data analytics skills such as Power Query / Power BI preferred
  • Ability to work independently with solid organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer services focus with great follow-up skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-motivated
  • Collaborative and a team player
  • Ability to efficiently multi-task

Pay Range:
$94,000 – $107,000

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
