Director, Omnichannel Strategy & Creative

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to serve as the Director, Portfolio & Omnichannel Strategy & Creative for the North America Operating Unit's (NAOU) Nutrition Category, working across flagship brands like Simply, Minute Maid, and Honest Kids. This role is responsible for developing and driving the holistic portfolio strategy for commerce initiatives in omnichannel retail environments, with a focus on delivering breakthrough creative solutions, activating System-wide programming, and driving portfolio growth.

The ideal candidate will bring a unique mix of portfolio management, commerce expertise, creative leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to unlock shopper insights, solve business challenges, and deliver results for both Nutrition and retail partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead nutrition portfolio strategy for omnichannel commerce, integrating business objectives, category priorities, and brand initiatives to drive impactful and scalable shopper marketing programs.

  • Own end-to-end development and execution of key portfolio programs, including shopper strategy, creative direction, and stewardship across the System.

  • Build and drive Warehouse GOAT calendars to ensure System prioritization and execution of Nutrition initiatives.

  • Develop inspiring commerce briefs that connect business objectives, shopper insights and retail opportunities resulting in best-in-class Playbooks to enable System execution of programming

  • Lead omnichannel shopper strategy and creative development in partnership with agency teams, ensuring creative excellence to drive purchase in-store and online.

  • Serve as an omnichannel SME and trusted partner across internal and agency teams to ensure programs are seamlessly executed across channels and delivered on-time and on-budget.

Key Skills

  • Experience in portfolio strategy and omnichannel commerce marketing.

  • Skilled in translating business needs and consumer/shopper insights into impactful creative executions, with data-backed solutions that drive retail sales, category growth, and basket size.

  • Ability to inspire and evaluate commerce strategy and creative based on strategic alignment, creativity, consumer impact and System needs.

  • Understanding of System dynamics and commercialization to ensure successful sell-in and execution of Nutrition programs

  • Knowledge of shopper creative best practices to ensure all creative deliverables are optimized for the channel and placement

  • Exceptional leadership, collaboration, and influencing skills to navigate cross-functional teams and inspire internal/external stakeholders.

  • Resourceful and adaptable problem solver, with the ability to prioritize and drive pivots under tight timelines.

  • Stay ahead of trends in omnichannel commerce, consumer behaviors, and retail innovations to build compelling shopper programs for the future.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 8 or more years of experience in creative, brand management, and/or marketing in consumer-packaged goods; beverage experience preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred

  • Ability to support the team to build a holistic picture of what is required to deliver these plans including alignment of key customer stakeholders and making key decisions on resource needs/allocations.  

Communication Focus  

  • Role frequently leads communications with both internal (e.g., US brand, Commercial, Customer Teams) as well as external (e.g. customer, agency) partners 

  • Interactions include sharing relevant information on brand business plans, influencing others to take action in support, and negotiating components of said plans in order to enable desired outcomes  

  • Role interacts frequently (daily) with constituents (internal and external) that may not have completely aligned interests/ objectives

Pay Range:
$160,000 – $186,000

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
