Senior Director – System Economics

BODYARMOR is looking for a Sr. Director, System Economics to join our team.
The Senior Director – System Economics will report directly to the head of Investment Management within our Finance department. The main objective of Investment Management team in BASN is to optimize resource allocation to drive topline growth and bottom-line improvement. Effective resource allocation is critical to achieve BASN and NAOU 2035 ambition which requires double-digit topline growth from BASN every year while expanding its margins. We are looking for business-minded candidates with a proven ability to drive insights from financial and market data, to work proactively with the network and find innovative ways to strategically move the business towards its short-term and long-term objectives, to create System value, and to lead the change for a sustainable impact on BASN brands and the industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategic partnership with Customer and Commercial teams and close collaboration with Planning and Supply Chain Finance to develop a robust understanding of Bottler, Customer, Channel, and Brand/Segment P&Ls, to enrich mix/pricing/margins analysis, and to provide recommendations for margin-accretive System plans.
- Financial and strategic assessment of System economic models and recommendation for optimized models design to drive sustainable System alignment on innovation and growth ambition and to expand System and Company margins.
- Strategic partnership with Customer and Commercial teams and close collaboration with Planning and Supply Chain Finance to develop LRP and ABP in alignment with BASN and Company KPIs, incl. sources of growth planning process, trade promotion optimization, and other strategic revenue enhancing initiatives.
- Collaboration with Customer and Commercial teams to provide financial guidance for the annual pricing process.
- Financial assessment (value chain analysis, financial modelling, opportunity assessment, return on investment analysis, cash flow analysis, and other financial tools) of strategic initiatives and strategic customer deals to support Customer and Commercial teams for effective resource allocation with recommendations to the Senior Leadership.
- Collaboration with Customer and Commercial teams on stretch initiatives, incl. off-cycle pricing increases. In collaboration with RGM, Planning and Supply Chain Finance, support with analysis of optimized pricing scenarios and contingency planning for volume and rate, providing visibility and transparency of implications on margins, volume and value share changes, Company KPIs, and business plan.
- Close collaboration with key partners to further streamline related processes, enhance governance, and support change management. Continuous improvement mindset to lead evaluation and implementation of transformational ideas to drive topline and bottom-line growth of NAOU Sports in line with ABP and LRP.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree strongly preferred
- 10 years of financial management experience in Commercial, Franchise, or Customer Finance, Strategy, or M&A roles required
- Hybrid presence in Whitestone, NY office required (in-person Tues-Thurs)
- Mastery of financial analysis tools, incl. financial modelling, DCF and other valuation methods, ROI assessment, scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, corporate finance, financial reporting and accounting
- Experience with NAOU and global Company tools and systems relevant for this role
- Strong understanding of customer and bottler P&L management (incl. drivers of volume, revenue, gross profit, and brand contribution), revenue growth management capabilities, forecasting and trade spend effectiveness. Understanding of TCCC RGM framework, OBPPC strategy, Leader/ Challenger/ Explorer framework
- Deep understanding of TCCC System economics and business models in NAOU along with key processes to drive System alignment
- Strong communication, presentation, and leadership to influence business decisions in alignment with key partners

Pay Range:
$165,000 – $195,000
Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
Annual Incentive Reference Value Percentage:
30
Annual Incentive reference value is a market-based competitive value for your role. It falls in the middle of the range for your role, indicating performance at target.
