In Liberia, Costa Rica we have our newest and most advanced manufacturing facility in the world that is leading the way for Industry 4.0. This plant is utilizing state of the art manufacturing technology to improve how our employees work and how we produce our products. We are looking for a Budget Cost Analyst, responsible for the full cycle of operating expense (OPEX) management—including actuals, projections, and budget planning—ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with business goals. Through proactive analysis, special reporting, and close collaboration with stakeholders, the analyst transforms financial data into strategic insights. The role also includes FTE planning and supports decision-making by connecting figures with purpose and impact. The products produced in this plant will reach hundreds of millions of consumers across the world. What you’ll do for us
•Responsible of OPEX budget, including development and implementation of policies and procedures, budget control, ensuring compliance with annual total and cost per part target transforming financial data into clear narratives that support strategic decision-making.
•Preparation of region standard, annual business plan and rolling estimate for OPEX and FTE.
•Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing activities related to OPEX figures.
•Monthly projection for rolling estimate figures and deviation analysis.
•Update and communicate monthly OPEX data to budget owners, fostering transparency and accountability.
•Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with purchasing policies and procedures.
•Develop and deliver special reports tailored to corporate requirements,
•Provide training to associates related to purchasing policy, purchasing orders, good receipts and other process related.
•Oversee payment processes for recurring expenses (e.g., Liberty, ICE), ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
•Support and monitor operating expenses execution with budget owners.
•Prepare and monitor intercompany charges, open PO reports, contract controls, and policy renewals.
•Responsible to monitor and ensure proper contracts for the plant.
•Prepare monthly intercompany charges as needed.
•Prepare monthly open PO report.
•Support and prepare contract reports and controls.
•Support annual plant policy renewal.
•Support property insurance claims.
•Prepare quarterly violation PO report.
•Prepare balance sheet projections.
•Prepare and ensure payment terms for CPS Liberia suppliers
•Assist in monthly account reconciliation processes.
•Support deferral calculation process.
•Prepare analysis for GR/IR GL account and carry out the corresponding follow up actions.
•Prepare FTE report aligned with OPEX deliverables.
•Analyze OPEX projects through Wave (internal system) and monitor and support productivity initiatives.
•Prepare and issue miscellaneous invoices to ensure the proper reallocation of expenses to the corresponding business units or cost centers.
•Perform monthly reviews of the OPEX purchase order release strategy and update approval information in the system as needed.
•Generate the monthly price audit report, verify that updated prices match the provided price letters, and maintain proper records of all supporting documentation.
•Prepare ad hoc reports.
•Comply with the guidelines of Food Safety, Integrated Management System (Quality, Environment, Occupational Health and Safety), KORE Corporate Standards and any other applicable legal requirements, established or subscribed by the Company, related to your job, complying with the policies, internal plans and procedures that ensure the proper implementation and continuous improvement of the company.
•Prepare ad hoc reports and provide support to the finance team as needed.
•Participate and know the risk matrices in the area of work.
•Participate in the different health, environmental, and safety initiatives or programs implemented in the work.

Requirements & Qualifications:
•Advance or University/Bachelor’s Degree: Finance or related. CPI / CPA or MBA with major on related field are a plus.
•3+ years in similar positions knowledge and experience in Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting.
•Technical skills and certification: Familiar with GAAP and Local GAAP regulations.
•Familiar with ERP systems and productivity/reporting software.
•SAP knowledge.
•Proficient in Power BI for dashboard
•Desirable Fully bilingual Spanish-English
•Skilled in rolling forecasts, variance analysis, and scenario planning.
•Advanced Excel
