Director, Strategic Insight and Analysis

We are seeking a visionary Director of Strategic Insight and Analysis to lead high-impact initiatives that combine strategic thinking with advanced data science. This role is central to transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive growth, performance, and innovation across the North America Operating Unit (NAOU). The ideal candidate is a strategic leader who happens to be a data scientist—someone who thrives at the intersection of business strategy and analytical rigor.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Insight & Business Impact

  • Lead cross-functional strategic projects to uncover growth opportunities and diagnose performance gaps.

  • Develop fact-based recommendations that influence executive decision-making and drive P&L impact.

  • Establish and evolve performance management processes that provide real-time visibility into business performance—what happened, why, and what to do next.

  • Champion NAOU’s data strategy, including architecture, governance, privacy, and AI ethics.

  • Collaborate with industry experts and internal stakeholders to shape long-term strategic direction.

Advanced Analytics & Data Science

  • Provide leadership for all data science initiatives within the Strategic Insight and Analysis team—working closely with shared services and external partners.

  • Design and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms to analyze industry trends, customer behavior, and business performance.

  • Guide the team in transforming raw data into compelling visual narratives and strategic insights.

  • Lead key strategic analytics projects such as Predictive modeling for market share performance, Market variance analysis etc.

  • Stay current with emerging technologies and methodologies in data science and analytics.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Mentor and develop a high-performing team of strategists and analysts

  • Partner with cross-functional teams including commercial, finance, and portfolio strategy to integrate insights into business planning and execution.

  • Liaise with global platform services and external partners to drive innovation and analytical excellence.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in Strategy, Analytics, or Data Science—preferably in CPG, retail, or consulting.

  • Proven ability to lead complex projects and influence C-suite decisions.

  • Expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, and data visualization.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical insights into business impact.

  • Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, and cloud platforms (preferably Azure).

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or quantitative master’s preferred

Pay Range:
$164,000 – $193,000

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
