RGMx (Revenue Growth Management & Margin Expansion)

Responsible for effective execution and compliance with all Revenue Management and Margin Expansion Standards; manages financial planning and analysis activities to identify risks and opportunities; is responsible for leading Right Competitive Portfolio Guidance with OBPPC and Commercial frameworks; works within a total Commercial Agile Project Group, leads key analysis and makes recommendations to senior management; collaborates within commercial team and  cross-functionally to deliver key RGMx guidance.

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, design and implement integrated system RGMx approaches and plans to support topline revenue growth and margin expansion by better targeting all key stakeholders (Consumers, Shoppers and Customers) inclusive of revenue pools, bold OBBPC approaches to drive assortment, SKU optimization, innovation, , price terms and conditions and promo intelligence.
  • Understand, analyze and connect all key RGMx drivers related to OU business performance and identify and leverage all key consumer-centric & customer-relevant value propositions that will drive adoption and scale, leading all aspects of the strategic RGMx initiatives
  • Key member of commercial network to accelerate capability in: Affordability, Premiumization, Portfolio Optimization, Margin Expansion, Advanced Analytics with connecting dots
  • Enable RGM (“Right Competitive Portfolio”) part of commercial Brilliant Basics and ensure tools deployment within the OU. Cross-functional and cross-market RGMx integration, acting as key contact for RGMx for all relevant stakeholders (not least the bottlers, Franchise GMs, Commercial-, Marketing and Finance functions – ensuring that RGMx strategies and all key commercial activities are ‘in sync’
  • Develop a collaborative partnership and support planning routines with stakeholders in Customer/Channel, Franchise/Bottler, Category/Brand and CCNA Finance teams
  • Communicate and provide guidance to stakeholders. Lead Agile Workshops that provides guidance to planning stakeholders in Brands / Categories, Bottlers / Franchise, Finance.
  • Develop and maintain RGMx tools and frameworks. Responsible for leading the evolution of existing planning tools, creation of new ones, and implementation of new techniques / technologies as needed to support and facilitate business plan
  • Enable / support collaboration and development of the team, both the immediate RGMx, as well as the broader Planning / Performance, Franchise and Commercial teams.

Education Requirements: 

  • Minimum Required:  Bachelor’s degree  (engineering, finance, business)
  • Preferred Level: Master degree in business or associated field

Related Work Experience: 

  • Minimum of 7+ years’ experience in sales, finance or RGM with expertise in customer planning, focused on delivery of world-class results in a complex, distributed environment. 
  • Experience developing strategy & delivering against implementation of strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to forge alignment with Senior Business Leaders
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver upon results; ability to make decisions in ambiguous situations
  • Business performance management – practical experience using data systems to track and steward frontline initiative execution 

Preferred Level:

  • Extensive experience (10 years +)
  • Field and headquarter experience working closely across finance, sales & marketing, BIS, etc.
  • Business operations experience with execution accountability
