Role: Director, Commercial Strategy & Operations – Governance and Portfolio (R-125378)

Primary Job Location: (USA) Candidates must be currently located in or willing to relocate to the Atlanta, Georgia area.

Travel: This role requires up to 25% travel, with an expectation to be in the office 3 days a week.

As the Director of Commercial Strategy & Operations – Governance and Portfolio, you will manage the Commercial Strategy Subcommittee process to ensure commercial alignment with our Bottler partners, own the NAOU Core SKU portfolio process, and support the overall NAOU portfolio health through data, analytics, and reporting.

In this role, you will partner closely with the entire Commercial Strategy & Operations team, Brand, Bottler Partners, and Franchise Leadership, to ensure effective commercial & portfolio governance and to drive processes that continuously improve the performance of our Core SKU portfolio.

This is a highly cross-functional role that requires strong project management skills, data and analytics skills, the ability to influence, comfortable presenting in large groups ability to communicate effectively, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do for Us:

Commercial Strategy Subcommittee Governance Management

  • Own the Commercial Strategy Subcommittee Calendar, process, and routine administration

  • Lead the Commercial and Marketing team’s preparation for each CSS meeting

  • Lead CSS communications with Bottler Stakeholders

  • Drive continual improvement of the routine by focusing on efficiency and effectiveness

Core SKU Portfolio Management

  • Own the book of record of the NAOU Core SKU list and steward to the System

  • Support and guide the CSO team as they take innovation through alignment including INCAST, Commercial Strategy Subcommittee, and CCLT.

  • Support Core SKU Health processes by working with our Bottler Partners to make our Core SKUs more effective.

  • Manage communications of Core SKU changes to the System

  • Partner with Franchise Leadership to Improve Core SKU Compliance

  • Improve Core SKU velocity performance by partnering with the CSO team on Base Distribution Expansion

  • Lead the development process for Regional Core SKUs through RCLB

Overall Portfolio Support

  • Partner with the Senior Director, Portfolio Health on overall NAOU portfolio management support

  • Lead the reporting, analytics, and alignment process related to SKU optimization for Bottler Option SKUs.

  • Lead Portfolio reporting (Bottler Selling, VPO & Availability, etc.) and work with stakeholders to identify opportunities and drive performance

Commercial Strategy

  • Lead or support commercial initiatives in support of the broader Commercial Strategy and Operations team

What You'll Need

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree; MBA or other Graduate Degree Preferred

  • 5-10 Years of experience, preferably in the consumer goods/beverages industry

  • Ability to collaborate with brand/category/franchise teams and other key internal/external stakeholders; effective in influencing a wide variety of stakeholders

  • Ability to leverage data and analytics related to complex business processes (Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, Tableau, etc)

  • Proven track record of ability to not only embrace change but to drive it and comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments

  • Effectively communicates and builds relationships at all internal and external organizational levels; communicates complex issues through clear and simple messages.

Pay Range:
$141,000 – $165,200

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
