Manager, Global Reporting and Strategic Tax Initiatives

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tax Reporting & Compliance Professional to be an integral part of our Global Tax team. This position plays a key role in advancing The Company’s global tax reporting, compliance, and transparency initiatives in an ever-evolving regulatory landscape. You will collaborate closely with the Director of Global Reporting & Strategic Tax Initiatives to ensure compliance with complex international tax requirements, including OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) Pillar Two and other emerging regulations.

In this role, you will also provide support to various tax disciplines, including Transfer Pricing, Federal Income Tax, International Tax, and Accounting for Income Taxes, ensuring seamless collaboration and execution of responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Global Tax Compliance:

  • Develop and manage efficient processes to gather and review financial data from 350+ entities globally for CbCR (Country-by-Country Reporting) submissions.
  • Prepare and oversee Pillar Two compliance initiatives, including Transitional Safe Harbor calculations, GloBE return preparation, and filing QDMTT (Qualified Domestic Minimum Top-Up Tax) returns for foreign entities.
  • Lead the preparation and review of CbCR filings for Federal Form 1120 and Public CbCR across multiple jurisdictions worldwide, ensuring accurate collection and reporting of statutory financial data.
  • Legislative Monitoring and Research:
  • Track global legislative updates for OECD Pillar Two and collaborate with the Tax Technology lead to implement scalable processes for compliance.
  • Conduct research to assess the impact of global compliance and transparency initiatives on the Company; subsequently, design tailored solutions to address requirements.
  • Stay ahead of emerging tax transparency measures and their implications, ensuring the Company adapts proactively to regulatory changes.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Oversee the data collection and analysis process for Total Tax Contribution, compiling insights for inclusion in the Company’s global tax contribution report published annually.
  • Support Tax Counsel and the Transfer Pricing Senior Director in preparing APAs (Advanced Pricing Agreements) and transfer pricing studies by providing accurate data collection and analysis.
  • Contribute to monthly and year-end tax provision calculations, including GILTI, Domestic Minimum Tax, and Pillar Two Safe Harbor metrics.

Process Optimization and Technology:

  • Continuously improve and automate tax processes by leveraging innovative technologies and working with the Tax Technology team to implement solutions.
  • Maintain technical expertise in OneSource tax compliance software and the Company’s Pillar Two compliance tools.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance goals are successfully met.
  • Communicate technical tax concepts effectively to non-technical audiences, both verbally and in writing.

What You’ll Bring to the Role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • 5  years of tax experience, with a focus on tax planning, compliance, and analysis.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Federal and International Taxation, and Accounting for Income Taxes in the context of global operations.
  • Expertise in enterprise tax systems like OneSource and proficiency in managing large, complex datasets.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and proficiency with Power BI or other Microsoft Power Tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to identify tax risks and develop strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment as a team player with a strong commitment to excellence and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to drive process improvements, streamline workflows, and implement automation solutions.

Pay Range:
$101,000 – $118,000

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
