Indirect Procurement Manager
Job Summary
As an Indirect Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing of goods and services that are not directly incorporated into a company's product but are essential for supporting business operations. You will work closely with various departments to strategically source and manage suppliers, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality. Your role involves negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procurement of best practices.
Key duties/responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for indirect goods and services such as office supplies, IT services, utilities services, facilities management, and professional services.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and benchmark pricing.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
- Manage supplier performance and maintain strong relationships to ensure service quality and delivery.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide procurement support.
- Monitor and analyze procurement metrics to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with corporate procurement policies and relevant regulations.
- Develop and maintain procurement documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier records.
- Lead and manage a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and support.
- Develop and lead sourcing strategies, negotiations, and contracting for Capex projects.
- Manage supplier performance issues and act as the point of escalation for project teams.
- Engage with CPS operations (Engineering, QSE, Manufacturing & Finance) for stakeholder management.
- Build and manage supplier relationships to achieve long-term business goals.
- Ensure risk management and compliance, including appropriate NDAs and contracts.
- Participate in Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) programs with strategic suppliers.

Job Requirements/Qualifications
Type of previous work experience required:
Desirable Experience of minimum 5 years in the position or similar function as:
- Procurement/ Supply Management
- Indirect Procurement and Capex
Number of years of previous work experience required:
+7 years
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPM, CPSM) is a plus.
Languages
Fluent English & Spanish
Technical skills and certification
Desirable Technical Skills:
- SAP-S4 knowledge.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and build strong supplier relationships. Experience in the Beverage Industry is highly preferred.
- Ability to work with engineers, external vendors, operators and management to manage projects and assignments is essential.
- Establish priorities and lead processes for planning technical work and monitoring progress to achieve desired outcomes.
- Effective written and oral communication with cross-functional teams and management
- Effectively communicates and influences non-technical senior managers.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse community
- Effective written and oral communication in both English and Spanish
- Influence buy-in for strategic project plan from stakeholders and key contributors.
- Ability to rapidly study, analyze, and apply new technologies. Ability and willingness to learn from experience and external benchmarking.
- Proven experience in indirect procurement, with a strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices.
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in procurement software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Leadership experience with a track record of managing and developing teams.
