Snr Manager, Incident Management Crisis Resolution (IMCR) and Technical Risk Management
About the role:
- IMCR (Incident Management & Crisis Resolution) and Risk management Leadership for all countries in Africa Operating Unit
- The role is critical to raising the profile and visible support of Technical related incidents across the system and ensuring quality, food safety and workplace safety are managed and mitigated. It is also responsible for effective process implementation, identifying and developing system capability to avoid repeat incidents and to mitigate other industry trends.
- This role is responsible for representing all Technical Innovation & Supply Chain (TI&SC) as part of the core Africa IMCR (Incident Management & Crisis Resolution) team to include:
- Active participation in the planning and execution of IMCR training and validation exercises in Africa in collaboration with Public Affairs and Communications Sustainability (PACS), Franchise partners, Global Security and Asset Protection (GSAP) & Bottler
- Direct and routine engagement with GSAP & PACS
- Active contribution to the ongoing IMCR process and reporting tool refinement/enhancement
- Providing leadership by interacting with all levels of the organization
- Engaging directly with senior leadership of Africa Operating Unit to provide status of IMCR response, associated risks, and identified next steps
- Leading/co-leading IMCR response & ensure effective Technical response to IMCR events globally and provide direction and guidance to the local teams
- Responsible for managing IMCR related communications with corporate and Africa Operating Unit Leadership Team. Communication includes incident, action plans and follow up on mitigation activities.
- This role is responsible for representing all TI&SC as part of the core Africa Technical Risk Management team to include:
- Ensure Technical Risk Management Framework (TRMF) and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) systems are up to date and Africa Operating Unit level mitigation plans in place
- Implement and closely monitor the global technical risk management framework with proper reporting for Africa Operating Unit
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement local/regional governance requirements and risk management
- Internalize and communicate successful practices and lessons learned based corrective/preventive action plans
- Continuous evaluation and improvement of global processes and requirements related to Risk Management
- Lead the Africa IMCR process for Technical, Innovation & Supply Chain (TI&SC). Ensure lessons learned are captured proactively across the entire global QSE networked organization. Set validation program management and track compliance.
- Contribute and support the system QSE innovation process
- Connect source data from different risk processes and propose risk mitigation steps
- Ongoing improvement of Risk Assessment Tools following big data analysis and system feedback
- Wire the Technical risks and risk areas across the supply chain and product categories, R&D innovation, productivity, sustainability, manufacturing operations and other change activities. Implement common structured risk management approach across Technical and QSE function.
- Build knowledge sharing environment to connect people, content, processes and information in an effective and sustainable manner to better leverage the collective knowledge of the community.
Role Requirement
- 5 years field experience within or with Company bottler, beverages manufacturing or food manufacturing industry preferred. Proven track record in Technical/QSE operations outside of QSE strongly recommended.
- Experience in leading scale transformation programs, change management.
- Risk/change management: understand the impact of change and the need to be purposeful in both communication and actions
- Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies. Demonstrated examples of tools used in the solving of quality problems/risk.
- Quality Assurance Principles: Knowledge and application of quality cost analysis, inspection, corrective action planning, customer and consumer satisfaction tracking, internal monitoring in order to detect and correct non-conforming information, materials or processes using modern quality problem-solving tools
- Manufacturing: Knowledge of process operating conditions and requirements leading to the safe manufacture of quality products e.g. GMP, GxP, HACCP, GFSI, OSHA. Food Safety: Ability to apply understanding of the physical, chemical and microbiological causes of food
