Summary

The Lifecycle Analyst assists in management of the overall product lifecycle process. The Lifecycle Analyst works in collaboration with Liberty’s Commercial, Supply Planning, Procurement, Master Data and Sales Operations functions to bring new products to market, coordinate promotional and limited time offering product introductions and exits and manages the permanent exit of specific products from the portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate the details of new product introductions, promotional / limited time offering products and portfolio deletions to all relevant stakeholders within the organization
  • Develop, coordinate and execute launch preparedness plans for all product Innovation in accordance with expectations of the Commercial and Sales Operations departments
  • Determine, communicate and track new product inventory allocations to Sales Operations
  • Chair cross functional Innovation related calls and prepare, maintain and communicate all pre and post call documentation, action registers, notes
  • Monitor new product sales, coordinating with other functions to adjust inventory purchases or production to maintain adequate inventory levels post launch
  • Coordinate with other functions to ensure promotional packaging is sourced, promotional finished goods inventory is produced and distributed to optimize market impact
  • Provide analytical support to the Liberty SKU Rationalization process; develop and coordinate cost effective and timely exit plans for approved deletion skus
  • Maintain Liberty’s active and deleted sku listings documentation
  • Collaborate with other functions in a continuous improvement effort to refine the Liberty Product Lifecycle process
  • Support all related Lifecycle assigned projects

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Operations Management or Engineering discipline preferred
  • APICS certification is a plus
  • Two (2) plus years’ experience in area of Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, Procurement, or Operations preferred
  • Product Lifecycle experience highly preferred
  • SAP experience required
  • Blue Yonder, Pigment, Margin Minder, Anaplan, ORI experience preferred
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Business process oriented
  • Proficient with Word/Excel/PowerPoint – able to do complex modelling
  • Strong ability for cross functional team collaboration at all levels of business
  • Must be willing to travel 10% of the time
