Minimum Salary: $89.30 daily plus commission. 

Maximum Salary: $89.30 daily plus commission. 

  • Base and Commission that averages $25 per hour.

Open route is in Bronx, NY.

 

The Sales Merchandiser is the primary Liberty Coca-Cola contact between the store managers or store owners and is responsible for the customer relationships along with increasing business by selling and ordering products within his or her sales territory existing customer base. Additionally, is responsible for maintaining Coca-Cola products fully stocked on the shelves, as well as product availability and merchandising products at all designated accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain appropriate product inventory levels in beverage sections, displays and cold equipment in compliance with company standards, ensuring minimal out of stocks and minimizing trade breakage, damaged and loss
  • All warm & cold product should be rotated by using the FIFO method
  • Maintain company assets, transport & maintain current POS materials
  • Place timely & accurate orders per ad calendar to maintain inventory levels
  • Meet customer service expectations through daily communication, problem resolution, and appropriate follow up
  • Maintain professional relationships with co-workers, store personnel, and shoppers
  • Must attend all live & virtual company scheduled meetings
  • Conduct store surveys.
  • Communicate account activities, including equipment service needs, to appropriate parties
  • Identifying and reporting any unsafe working conditions
  • Attending and completing Company training and certifications; following Company and Store policies regarding backroom, display floor, replenishment, equipment, and safety; following applicable local, state, and federal laws.
  • Utilize mobile devices to complete work activities
  • Comply with dress code or appearance/grooming standards 
  • Act as an ambassador by answering questions, locating products & aiding consumers and store personnel 

Qualifications

  • High School or GED (General Education Diploma) required. Associate degree/1-2 yr. college – univ. degree preferred. 
  • 1+ year previous sales/merchandising experience preferred.                 
  • Must be 18 years of age or older. 
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States. 
  • Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack or lift product. Certification as required.
  • Must provide and maintain a personal vehicle for use during employee working hours. 
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license as well as maintain current vehicle liability insurance, as specified by the company. 
  • Must have a driving record with no major moving violations in the last three (3) years.

Qualifications Continued

  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills. 
  • Excellent communication, planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to use and understand mobile applications. 
  • Proficient in computer application skills i.e., Microsoft, Spring, MM, CGO, Gameplan, BOX etc.

Physical Requirments

  • Ability to repetitively lift, carry and position objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to repetitively push and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance while kneeling, squatting, reaching about the head, reaching at the waist, reaching below the knees and bending at the knees
  • Ability to repetitively push and pull manual transport equipment (for example, pallet jack or hand truck) containing product loads up to a minimum of 100 yards without assistance
  • Ability to exert oneself physically over sustained periods of time to complete job activities
  • Ability to read and understand store plan-o-gram and set instructions
  • Ability to stand a minimum of 8 hours during the workday up to 10 hours
  • Ability to walk a minimum of 4 hours during the workday
  • Ability to work weekends
  • Ability to work in customer storage areas with varying temperatures
