Senior Manager, Global Network Modeling

This role is responsible for overseeing global logistics procurement initiatives, developing and implementing supply chain optimization models, and designing transportation network models to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. This role involves planning, managing, and reviewing network improvement projects to achieve output and quality objectives, as well as managing the logistics strategies for our major global stakeholders. Additionally, the role includes leading optimization modeling projects with a focus on project management skills to ensure successful execution and communication of project status and results to stakeholders.
This role will work with key members of our Global Logistics and Supply Chain teams to ensure that all sourcing initiatives and strategies are aligned with business
What You’ll Do for Us

Bridge the gap between global network modeling and procurement functions, focusing on how network and logistics efficiencies can deliver value to the business.

Negotiate, implement, and manage long-term strategic contracts to ensure optimum costs and reliable supply and develop a pipeline of qualified potential contract manufacturers capable of meeting the current and future business requirements of the business.

Develop and implement procurement processes inclusive of short- and long-term category strategy development and execution of market RFPs.

Develop, prioritize and manage cost savings through optimization modeling and continuous improvement initiatives within area of responsibility.

Benchmark transportation alternatives to competitively position best cost solutions and develop best in class logistics strategy.

Ensure all contract manufacturing relationships are governed by contracts that align with corporate mandates and support key business requirements while ensuring continuity of supply at the lowest total delivered cost.

Assess supplier and platform risks and develop appropriate contingency plans.

Develop relationships and support the integration of new emerging brands and products to ensure integration into the supply chain, with a focus on network overlap and efficiencies across multiple brands and business units.

Build consensus and drive alignment amongst key stakeholders in support of procurement initiatives and programs (sourcing, implementation, compliance.)

Lead complex optimization modeling projects, including supply chain and transportation network modeling. This should include best-in-class stakeholder engagement and clear alignment with established core teams.

Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for optimization modeling projects.

Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or another related field.

5+ years of manufacturing and/or procurement experience in the CPG industry

5+ years of network design and or modeling experience

Proven track record in managing supply issues, working across suppliers, senior leadership, and sourcing managers to mitigate supply continuity.

Experience in data collection methods. Must be able to analyze key procurement metrics to report results to senior management.

Knowledge of/experience with operating environments, systems, and processes used in solution design and development efforts.

Knowledge of/experience with operating environments, systems, processes, and solution tools used in end-to-end Procurement Operations.

Pay Range:
$114,000 – $139,000
Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
