Health & Welfare Benefits Intern

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Summer Intern for our Health & Welfare Benefits department. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of health and welfare benefits, contributing to a progressive and supportive work environment. The intern will assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of health and welfare programs that enhance employee engagement and promote a healthy workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Development: Assist in the creation and refinement of health and well-being programs tailored to employee needs.

  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data related to employee health and welfare, using the insights to improve current initiatives.

  • Communication: Develop and distribute internal communications that promote health and well-being programs, including newsletters, emails, and intranet content.

  • Event Coordination: Help organize and execute health and welfare events, such as workshops, seminars, and fitness challenges.

  • Research: Conduct research on emerging health and welfare trends and best practices to inform program development.

  • Employee Support: Provide support to employees regarding health and welfare benefits, answering questions and directing them to appropriate resources.

  • Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative duties to support the Health & Welfare Benefits team.

Educational Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Public Health, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field with a final graduation date no earlier than December 2025.

Related Work Experience

  • Previous experience or coursework related to health and well-being, human resources, or program management is a plus.

Functional Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data
