Senior Manager, Supply Chain Services – Quality

As part of the Supply Chain Service D&A (Data & Analytics) Capabilities Team that deliver Analytical Products/Solutions for our Technical Innovation & Supply Chain (TISC) function.  We are looking for an experienced, hands-on and collaborative data and visualization engineering lead that will lead complex product development. You will build data-centric solutions that provide actionable business insights and deepen analytic capabilities for the TI&SC function. 

You will also work cross functionally with technology and business teams to align on deliverables and ensure projects are delivered as agreed. You will manage discussions including Cloud Data Architecture, Data Modeling, Dashboard Design and End to End Application Development. Previous Supply Chain experience is a big plus for this position. The successful candidate will ensure that products are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high-quality standard. In this role you will have the opportunity to build and troubleshoot ingestion pipelines from heterogeneous sources. You will also work with business intelligence and reporting team to develop complex data models You will work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and deliver data orchestration that support our business objectives.

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and lead strategic projects to support the growth goals for the TISC Function.
  • Manage strategic initiatives and execution roadmap in collaboration with functional, technology, architecture, governance, and security teams.
  • Gather operational data to examine past business performance, provide data analytics services, identify data patterns and trends, and offer insights to enhance business decision-making capabilities.
  • Support the integration of end-to-end alignment processes with the Global Supply Chain function and system partners.
  • Capture and network best practices, import and export good ideas.
  • Manage changes to project scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure on-time deliverables that push programs forward.
  • Track and measure project performance, lessons learned, and areas of opportunity moving forward.
  • Perform risk management.
  • Communicate expectations, risks, progress, learnings, statuses, deadlines, and overages to both team and sponsors.
  • Ensure SLA (Service Level Agreement) and customer satisfaction for delivered and supported products.
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise for architecting new capabilities and solutions.
  • Assess data, technologies, and approaches for ingestion, transformation, and storage.
  • Architect large and complex data models.
  • Utilize in-depth skills and hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Synapse, SQL, Spark, integration, testing, rollout, and support areas, as well as data solution architecture and storytelling based on data.
  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements and work in an agile environment.
  • Lead collaboration rooms/workshops with business teams and delivery partners to facilitate process flow development and quality deliverables.
  • Plan and execute data transformation work from initiation to closure, ensuring timely, budget-friendly, and high-quality delivery.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and manage project risks and issues.
  • Work with data engineers/analysts to build pipelines for required projects and requests.
  • Define, build, test, and implement scalable data orchestration layers using SQL and Azure functions.
  • Troubleshoot data-related issues, including missing data and poor data quality.
  • Maintain code via CI/CD processes as defined in the Azure DevOps platform.
  • Assess current state, understand business context in depth, translate it to outputs, and formulate recommendations for sustainable solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gain a deep understanding of business processes, identify gaps, and find transformation opportunities.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet business requirements and align with the organization's strategy.
  • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including status reports.
  • Develop and maintain project technical documentation and project plans.
  • Conduct project post-mortems to identify areas for improvement and best practices.
  • Mentor and train team members on data engineering best practices.
  • Lead analysis of large sets of complex finance and supply chain data.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in ETL or data engineering roles; with a focus on building and implementing data pipelines and modeling data  
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of data engineering methodologies.
  • Experience in Supply Chain domain is highly desired.

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage large scale data transformation initiatives and influence matrix organizations.

  • Problem Solving: ability to structure and coordinate / lead cross functional complex analysis, initiatives, or efforts.
  • Systemic thinking: Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts and global capabilities implementation. Being comfortable with ambiguity and willingness to challenge the status quo.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem solving ability and leadership skills along with relationship management ability.
  • Data and detail oriented along with analytical thinking.
  • Strong SQL skills to write efficient queries and stored procedures.
  • Good knowledge on Azure functions, ADLS, synapse pipelines, GIT repository and API gateway
  • Self-motivated and directed with an attention to detail.
  • Project Management/process improvement skills, effectively evaluates information/data to make decisions; Anticipates obstacles and develop plans to resolve issues.
  • Demonstrated customer focus – Evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer and ensures enhanced experience.
  • Develops processes and strategies to deliver outcomes that meet customer goals.
  • Change oriented, actively generates ideas and manage multiple and competing priorities and executes accordingly.
  • Understanding of Microsoft applications like Power Bi and Power App.

Pay Range:
$133,000 – $157,000

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
