Frontline Marketing Director UK, Global Coffee RTD

The Senior Growth Manger will develop and manage marketing strategies and solutions in partnership with one of our customers to drive value, increase beverage incidence and profitability. This position will play a critical role in the annual joint business planning process, development of growth strategies, innovation, and digital programming. In addition, this role will manage relationships with brands, R&D, commercialization, assets, and other internal and external constituents to support customer programming throughout the year.  We are looking for a highly strategic, collaborative, innovative and results-driven marketing leader with an entrepreneurial spirit, digital mindset, and exceptional communication skills.

Global Ventures was established in 2018 as a new operating segment of the Coca-Cola Company (TCCC). We have a portfolio of companies that are standalone businesses; each with a proven proposition, and with potential to scale globally. Global Coffee RTD is projected to be one of the fastest-growing beverage categories. The Global Ventures Team is leading TCCC’s growth in this space and is seeking a dynamic Marketing Director to join them on the journey. The Marketing Director will work across the cross-functional team, as well as the internal global marketing capabilities teams, to steward the global roll-out of the current marketing plans, and lead budget/ routine management and coordination. This role will require a blend of portfolio management expertise, relationship management, timeline management, and the ability to manage through ambiguity.

WHAT YOU’LL DO FOR US:

  • RTD Coffee planning: lead development of short and mid-term plans identifying business objectives, strategies, key initiatives and performance measurements by using insights collected from situation assessment, marketplace information to support the brand and business objectives.
  • Drive bottler alignment on the marketing agenda, including portfolio priorities and category/brand strategies and plans (objectives, DME investments, success metrics and activity calendars, including Innovation projects and IMX Campaigns) in partnership with Customer & Commercial Leadership, and Franchise Leadership.
  • Risk Management: Assess attractive local Operating Unit (OU) consumer opportunities that are currently untapped by the Company by leveraging consumer research in order to identify new volume and profit growth areas (e.g., new beverage sub-categories, new packaging opportunities, new merchandise categories, new channels of distribution to sell licensed merchandise).
  • Marketing Planning Support: Provide input on OU and Market level portfolio strategy, brand plans (activities, calendars, execution of allocated DME) and local innovation opportunities, and to OU IMP team for localization and/or real-time amplification at Market-level
  • Budgeting: Report and support initiatives to deliver brand(’s/s’) Net Revenue, Gross Profit, Direct Marketing Expense 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10 years of relevant work experience with knowledge of the beverage or CPG industry
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Master's in marketing; agency/relationship management preferred
  • Proven track record of working as a marketing manager to successfully lead and deliver complex projects on time
  • Demonstrated ability to work and communicate with cross-functional teams
