Director, Brand Management – Green Tea

Job Description

  • The role of this position is to lead brand marketing for Tea. The position is responsible for managing Green Tea brands and to demonstrate next level of marketing capability towards other marketing teams.
  • Drive Green Tea Brand Strategy & Execution: Translate brand equity building into the entire business uplift in Japan and Korea Market.
  • Lead the category growth to deliver short and mid- long-term growth target by closely co-working with category head.
  • Co-lead brand marketing for Green Tea. Deliver Sales, Profit and Market Share growth by establishing strong Brand Equity. This includes market landscape assessment, aggressive goal setting, robust strategy development and strong plan development and executions.
  • Responsible for coordinating and leading large and complex cross functional teams across the Coca-Cola Japan & Korea OU and Bottling partners.
  • Contribution for entire Green Tea team by capability development of brand managers and strong team building as a leader of brand managers. 

What You’ll Do for Us

  • Develop Mid-long range Strategic Business Plan and Annual Business Plan for sustainable value growth and establish optimal portfolio in Green Tea and entire Tea category with clear prioritization and ambition by closely co-working with category head.
  • Compelling growth strategy development covering brand vision, positioning to growth paths, brand edge enhancement to expand user base, Innovation strategy and pipeline development – Assessment of business growth opportunities leveraging consumer insights, idea generation and business case development. 
  • Solid brand initiatives planning and execution together with brand marketing calendar development (such as products, packages, communications and promotional activities).
  • Lead to work closely with large and complex cross functional teams across the Coca-Cola Japan & Korea OU and bottlers.
  • Develop commercial execution plans by closely working with other function.
  • Manage marketing communications plans by closely working with the team including agency partners.
  • Brand business diagnosis and holistic analysis (consumer centric, both macro & market trends, competition, package/VIS, channels, customer) as well as to manage day to day performance tracking in profit and sales volume, and design brand research.
  • Manage marketing budget in alignment with brand strategy and productivity guidelines.
  • Support other Green Tea brand managers in developing short and mid-long term business plan
  • Team capability development & solid team building.
