Indirect Procurement and Customs Coordinator

 INDIRECT PROCUREMENT

  • Support all functions through providing timely conversion of PR to PO for all Indirect Opex and Capex Procurement of all functions
  • Maintain Bid Comparisons as per Purchase Policy
  • Support functions with providing insights through expertise on vendor scouting to drive lower costs and professional service
  • Support functions during audits with PO relevant activities and paperwork.
  • Co-ordinate with finance and other departments to check agreement status of vendors.
  • Maintain a PR to PO conversion log/ database and present the same to management and internal customers as required from time to time.
  • Active co-ordination with SAP team (as required) to re-solve issues related to PO conversion.
  • Promotes and maintains a professional work environment.
  • Ensure complete legal compliance for every PO as per purchasing policy of the organization.

TRANSPORTATION & LOGISTICS

  • Support in paperwork related to Import Customs clearance, FSSAI and ADC Procedures.
  • Basic co-ordination with authorized Customs House Agent (CHA) and freight forwarder for import clearance related activities on regular basis.
  • Active co-ordination in daily planning & execution of tanker rotation of Bulk Materials.
  • Support for Freight Order/ Transportation Unit in the SAP TM Module from time to time.
  • Support in ticket raising and resolution for SAP TM Module.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Graduate in any stream
  • Upto 5  years of relevant experience in Commercial function or Indirect Procurement. Food, Logistics and Distribution  companies experience will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of SAP will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of MS Excel and Powerpoint is required.
  • Knowledge of Customs will be an advantage
