Director, Global CCL Data & Analytics Technologies Team Leader

What You’ll Do for Us:   

  • Be a Data and Analytics team leader, people and capacity manager. Own and lead the areas, products and processes in the scope of the team. Provide technical expertise and help, allocate resources and oversight of the expected results.
  • Lead business and data analysis endeavors, efficiently translating business requirements and change requests into a designs for a comprehensive, efficient, stable, scalable and reusable solution. Act as a solution architect for the products.
  • Spearhead the data modeling, development, and deployment including hand-on contribution when needed, with aim to be provided end-to-end Data and Analytics solutions. This includes ETL, data processing, data modeling, data visualization and analysis, interfaces to other systems, ensuring system robustness with guarantee that the delivered products meet the established conventions and security standards.
  • Organize, oversee and participate in product operations and maintenance, performance tuning, testing, troubleshooting, and support – all in alignment with DevOps principles and supplemented by the delivery of technical documentation. Actively identify and address technical weaknesses, opportunities, and threats throughout the application purview.
  • Foster a comprehensive understanding of the solutions, roadmaps, plans and strategies among team members and stakeholders while efficiently communicating the vision through technical materials, verbal presentations, and leading inter-team discussions.
  • Be at the forefront of innovation, continuously contributing and assessing the impact of new ideas to ensure maximum value delivery by the team. Be in constant collaboration with other teams and realize the principles of a global network organization.

Qualifications & Requirements: 

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field is required
  • A minimum of 8 years of demonstrable experience in designing and developing data and analytics solutions
  • Master-level knowledge of Database Management Systems, Extraction, Transformation, and Load, and Online Analytical Processing principles and frameworks
  • Experience with Spark and Big Data
  • Experience in data reporting and visualization solutions, with a preference for proficiency in Microsoft Power BI
  • At least 2 years of practical experience with Cloud development with preference to Azure services for data and analytics and especially Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL DB.
  • Required Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certification. Higher level certification is highly appreciated.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, behave proactively and innovate
  • Possess an analytical mindset with demonstrated critical thinking and a strong aptitude for problem-solving
  • Excellent communicator with the abilities in negotiation, customer and stakeholder management
  • Experience with the Scrum framework for agile software development as well as DevOps principles
  • People management experience is considered as a plus
  • Technical Proficiencies:
    • Expertise in SQL, DAX, and Python is required
    • Hands-on experience in software development and data processing
    • Familiarity with PySpark, Power Apps, Power Automate, GitHub and Azure DevOps.
    • Knowledge of C#, Scala, JavaScript will be an added advantage
    • Web development skills shall be viewed as a bonus
