Senior Software Engineer

The Marketing Technology (MarTech) team specializes in developing innovative solutions for business stakeholders across marketing platform. We are a company with one of the most recognizable portfolios of brands in the world and our marketing practices have been setting the industry standards for decades.  We build integrations for our identity system, promo engine and various other marketing experiences.

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Engineer with strong expertise in Node.js and AWS to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role combines innovation and speed to ensure that the team is on track to meet the objectives of our product launches. You will play a critical role in guiding the development of high-quality software solutions, ensuring that our projects are delivered on time and within scope.

What You’ll Do for Us:

  • Building, testing, and deploying scalable and efficient software applications using Node.js built on AWS technologies

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Architects, and Global Teams.

  • Provide hands-on technical development and mentorship to team members to improve their skills and ensure adherence to best practices.

  • Conduct code reviews and ensure that software is developed following established coding standards and architectural guidelines.

  • Proactively identify and resolve technical issues, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies in the development process.

  • Manage and prioritize the workload of the development team, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of projects.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for communication between stakeholders and the development team.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Proven success in leading and managing development teams, delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

  • 7+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Node.js and JavaScript-based application development.

  • 3+ years of experience working with AWS services, including Cloud Formations, WAF, S3, Lambda, Dynamodb and RDS.

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD processes, and DevOps principles.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a track record of delivering creative solutions to challenging problems.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Functional skills:

  • AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect certification.

  • Experience with Azure services, Azure BotFramework, Azure Function Apps, CosmosDb

  • Familiarity with Azure AAD (B2C), Adobe (AJO, AEP, AEM).
