Senior Director, Occupational Health & Safety

Primary Location: Atlanta, Georiga

What You’ll Do for Us :

  • Define and write policies and requirements related to their subject matter expertise: work safety at manufacturing including regulations, OSHAS certification, safety practices, Behavior Based Safety, Ergonomics, Vendor and Contractor Management, benchmark practices. Deep technical expertise required.

  • Works closely with the audit team to ensure appropriate governance is in place to monitor performance in manufacturing facilities and distribution networks for workplace safety

  • Provide consulting support to North America Supply Chain and Bottling Partners for Operating Units to diagnose and solve specific problems or help identify opportunities

  • Accountable and responsible for KO technical requirements content for workplace safety in manufacturing. Accountable and responsible for technical training content for workplace safety in manufacturing

  • Collaborate internally and externally to ensure requirements remain current and reflect the latest thinking, to benchmark and collaborate, and to share best practices.

  • Share best practices and wire together the system community of Subject-matter-experts to raise our collective genius and capability

Qualification & Requirements :

  • Related Technical Degree with accompanying technical experience and professional accreditations Engineering, Technology

  • A minimum of 10+ years of related experience

  • Experience in setting strategy Responsibilities in managing diverse facilities (multiple locations and geographies) Deep Subject Matter Expertise Relevant Technical Competencies CSP and/or CIH Board Certification (or willing to obtain quickly) Experience with Management Systems.

  • Industrial-manufacturing-Food and Beverage Deep subject matter expertise Multi-site (locations and facilities) safety strategy and direction Franchise Leadership and deep influencing skills

Functional Skills:

  • Must be able to guide executive level leadership in technical understanding of workplace safety risk in operations and work with them to develop step change in fatalities and serious injuries.

  • Must be able to communicate with ELT, BoD, bottler leadership, and all levels of organizations to set strategy and technical priorities to support BIG BETS and targeted sustainability initiatives.

  • Must be able to analyze multi-causal factors across operations where critical failure occurred and determine where similar risks are in organization.

  • Drive technical strategy related to workplace safety fatalities occurring in our operations

Pay Range:
$165,000 – $198,000

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
